Very nice salon. They primarily speak Spanish but they can still communicate with you so it's no biggie. The quality is great and they're all very friendly. I was a walk in haircut and immediately tended to with all my requests catered to (you know how sometimes you tell someone you want things shorter and they get an attitude for some weird reason? Well I promise they wont). They're great and I'll be back.

My appointment was with Rufy...* She was very critical and condenseding about my hair. As a master stylist and salon manager, she should have made a new client feel welcome and confident in her skills. She kept saying she didn't know what she was getting herself into with the amount of hair I have. Evidently, she didn't ask enough questions.* I was given a book to pick a hair color from and the end result turned out to be much darker than what I requested. She must've known it wasn't light enough because she kept stating that she focuses on healthy hair. I didn't ask for healthier hair, I asked for a color change. A few of the other stylists even asked why didn't I want the color lighter, which I did. For $225, I think I should have received what I wanted.* Rufy became unprofessional when she asked her son to go to the store to buy her some wine. She even stated she needed two bottles. Upon his return, she and one of regular clients each had a glass while the salon was still open.I slept on whether or not to say anything and called her within 24 hours of the appointment. I expressed my concerns and she stated she would redo the hair color on one of her less busy days and would call me to coordinate a date... fast forward 7 weeks. When I finally contacted her, she asked me why was I just now calling and that she's busy everyday. I was made to feel as if I did something wrong by not calling to remind her.Needless to say, we texted a couple of messages and she stopped replying. After her responses, who would feel comfortable allowing her to do a color correction!

I've been going to my hairdresser for a year now My last experience here I was approached by who I believe is the owner with her business card to offer "cheaper products and services" than her employees It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional for someone, especially the business owner, to interfere with their employees customers and offer "cheaper" services. I let my hairdresser know about the situation and she apologized on behave of the owner and was told I wasn't the only customer of hers and other hairdressers there approached like this. unprofessional and disrespectful

I found a stylist through Instagram, loved her work and was interested in a cut. I booked it for 10am. When the day comes I arrive to the salon 10 minutes early, I was texted by the stylist that they are running "a few minutes late", I got nervous because I had a few meetings that day at noon and needed time after the service to get to my location but I thought that a few minutes shouldn't be an issue. I got there at 9:51 and the stylist arrived at 10:19, I waited for 28 minutes. Or almost 20 minutes more than I should have with at 10:00 am appointment. The stylist was friendly, everything went well, I came with my hair straightened for my cut since I usually wear it that way. The stylist blow dries my hair for some reason before the cut, which was an additional charge (I wasn't aware of that, nor did I ask for a blow dry). The cut looked nice I was happy with it and I paid and regardless tipped nicely. Mind you I got maybe less than an inch in total cut off. The next day I realize I could've gotten more cut, so I message the stylist on IG if it would count as a new cut or if they had a different rate considering only a day has passed, and I was told it's a new cut. I go onto the stylist's booking site and it says for the service I got and paid for, a shampoo is included! I didn't receive a shampoo! Nor was I told. I message the stylist on IG asking about it and I was told that if I wanted a shampoo I should have asked. Since when is it the customer's job to mention that when the service is listed with something included?! I asked questions over IG and the stylist responded with a huge message ending with "Like I said I'm not going back and forth. Have a great day and I hope you find someone to cut you hair." While I was just trying to clarify. I ultimately feel a little ripped off, and I believe that salon owners should train their stylists with better communication and customer service.
