Primrose school has been a huge positive impact on my children lives. We have been here for maybe 4 months and my children actually can’t wait to go here in the mornings. They show individual interest in each child and are very in tune with field tips, tutoring and including the parents in the children’s development. They reward the kids for good behavior which creates accomplishment and accountability. We just really love this place and will continue to stay involved with Primrose!!!

It is my sincere pleasure and privilege to endorse this AMAZING school with the highest of recommendations! As a small business owner, I partner with Primrose Sugarloaf to provide a weekly martial arts program to the wonderful children at their facility. From the amazing owner to her wonderful staff and teachers, it is a true HONOR to witness the overwhelming positive experience that they create & provide for the children and families at this facility! They go above and beyond to provide a caring, nurturing, and loving environment for children to grow and thrive through their educational programs! They also continue to amaze me on how they make learning FUN for the children of all ages at their school, and they keep parents engaged through their ongoing fun activities inside & outside of the class setting.I cannot say enough to PRAISE the owner, management staff, and teachers for their professionalism, commitment to excellence in education, and genuine love of each & every child!THANK YOU for ALL that you do to make this a better world by inspiring children & shaping them into young leaders!

My review is LONG but WORTH the read I promise! I've had the opportunity of my son attending Primrose since he was about 2 1/2 years old and during the peak of the pandemic. Like everyone during those uncertain times, I had to make the decision of transitioning him from our in home nanny to school so he would not fall behind with his social skills. We had come from a "placeholder" school and it was time to find him a school home. From my first interaction and tour with the school, Ms. Yang told me everything about the program. I loved how thorough their policies and procedures were. The school appeared to be large, clean, fresh and new! The staff wore masks and required you to wear them when entering the building as well while I was on my tour so ultimately making the decision came a bit easier. As with most parents - you value the safety of your child. So many horror stories online and on the news about kids being mistreated by trusted staff. So I want to point out something that will be very reassuring - Tanisha and her wonderful administrative team take pride in caring for each child as if they were their own! You will get to know each and every one of them and learn the "culture" of your Primrose school. Even with my picky preferences with classrooms and teachers (LOL) they were always able to accommodate me or meet me in the middle. I did notice some reviews were unfavorable... One of the 1 star reviews was a parent I hadn't seen in a while. As parents, we like to think of our children as angles but most times it's not always the case! In her case, I must say her child was one of those children! And I love that Primrose has a standard and sticks to it! As for the mentioning of them not being equipped to handle Kids with disabilities, I dont think this is a fair judgement. So many children today have them. I'm an advocate for free help offered by the state and insurance and so many parents out of laziness most times refuse to get it! This leaves parents like myself who don't have a child with behavioral problems or disabilities at a disadvantage! Along with the teachers and staff! It takes a village to raise a child and they most certainly do their best within their legal realm of monitoring to make sure all children are treated fairly. So understand with all education - it's a partnership! As long as you are aware of that going into ANY school - your outcome should always be favorable. Now the good stuff! For new parents searching here are some perks:Pre-k is private! They wear uniforms in pre-k! (Loved this look for the kiddos) Breakfast is provided for a small weekly feeLunch is provided and is included in tuition They offer weekly tuition options!Their curriculum is wonderful! Their sign in/sign out and app are so seamless and user friendly! they have parent/teacher meetings etc! They have an open door policy and the owner is hands on! Now the cons which weren't many;Location - The traffic to get to this location took me about 90 mins a day for 2 round trips and I live less than 5 miles away. And it's pretty tough getting out of the schools parking lot onto the traffic... But my son's safety was the uttermost important so I made the sacrifice as long as I could! Personal values - Sometimes as families our personal, religious and moral values don't always align with companies and that's okay! So we made the tough decision to leave Primrose as we noticed this shift. Again - these are my personal pros and cons and they do not take away from the quality of the school which they most definitely earn their 5 star reviews! Any educator who dedicated their lives to care for children especially our precious little people deserves all kinds of awards! Please take time and try Primrose out for yourselves! They were good to me and my family and I would most likely return under the right circumstances (and relocation LOL)

We have enjoyed and been so impressed with how engaged the staff is with our son and all the children. We know our 2 year old has really connected with many different teachers and staff. As parents that is comforting to know your child is being looked after during the day by kind people that really care for children. We’ve also enjoyed all the activities both inside and outside of the classroom that Primrose works so hard to provide. Our son loved Splash day and the shaved ice truck in the parking lot. He enjoys seeing the goldfish whenever he walks by them in the hallway. He enjoyed being in the Grayson Day parade with other Primrose staff and families just to name a few examples.

We have been sending our daughter to Primrose schools since she was 10 months old. After moving to the area about 2 years ago we enrolled her in the Sugarloaf Pkwy location. We loved the primrose brand, the scheduled days, and use of the app to get insight into our daughter’s day. We have especially come to love this location. The communication from the school is excellent. We get daily updates via the app, a newsletter that goes out 2x a week as well as messages via app/text for more time sensitive notices. They also plan a variety of activities and celebrations to keep the kids engaged. The staff is friendly and helpful, our daughter loves the management staff & teachers throughout the school and knows them by name. She often talks about them and her classmates at home . She continues to learn and develop during her time enrolled and we’re happy to have her there!

My grand daughter goes to Primrose and Primrose brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths, while creating an environment of kindness, responsibility, and leadership. Our family is so grateful for the Primrose family.

Words cannot express my distaste for Tanisha Turner. First let me preface that she will gaslight me in her response because that's her go to methods. She's a cold woman who claims she loves your child, and then talks to you the adult like your gutter trash. Constantly condescending and gaslighting. We followed every one of her suggestions, only to make our child's anxiety worse. I regret not moving my child out of this school sooner. The school and staff are not equipped to manage children with diagnosed ADHD. Tanisha would claim my child isn't normal. Anything my child did, Tanisha would respond, "My children never behaved that way." Such a saint you are, Tanisha. Must be why your boys moved cross country to get away from you. Every little thing my child did, they would call me to complain. My child wasn't sitting on the carpet during circle time while the teacher was reading a story. Instead, my child was sitting quietly behind the teacher's chair and they weren't happy with that. A 3 year old was struggle to follow rules. Imagine that. And Ms. Yang messaged me and requested I call her at my earlier convenience because of this. Petty shit.Anyway, I could literally keep going but I've already given this too much time. I don't recommend this school. If you want more details, just message me. I have videos, photos and recordings of all the shit Tanisha put us through and I'm happy to share.

I’m with the Military and this is the only place in my area that I was referred to. I followed the steps of doing a tour first and did have a few concerns but since being referred by the Military I figured it was specific requirements that had to be followed so I dismissed my concerns. The Military was requesting a specific form to be filled out by this facility in order for me to continue with my application. I reached out to this school MULTIPLE times requesting for my form to be filled out and everytime I got a “Yes we will fill it out”. Almost 3 weeks has passed and I have yet to get my form from them filled out. Received an email from my application from the Military and due to that form not being submitted my application is being pushed back for the next couple months. To me if you can’t even handle the responsibility of simply filling out a form I requested multiple times then I wouldn’t trust you with the care of my child. I will be submitting a review with the Military since I was referred by them to this specific facility. I will gladly take my business else where and take it as a sign that this place is not a good fit for my standards for my child.

This is the ideal environment for young minds. My daughter, now in prek, has been attending this school for almost 3 years! They have watched her grow and continue to teach and nurture her. She loves going to school and sharing with us all she's accomplished. Thank you to all the hard working staff that make this a wonderful experience for us!

We absolutely love Primrose. I have had okay experiences with other daycares and was absolutely blown away by the care and kindness they offer here. They take great care of my child and always communicate if there is anything that happens. They provide great events for family to stay involved and it feels like a community, not just a daycare. My daughter cried a few weeks but now walks in and hugs her teachers. Highly recommend!!

I could not be more thrilled as a Grandma when I had the opportunity to keep my 3 year old grandson from North Carolina for 5 weeks. Right away I reached out to Primrose School at Sugarloaf to find out if they would accept him in their summer program for 5 weeks. They did! They made him feel so welcomed and part of the school. The teachers were attentive, patient and fun! They updated me, the nervous grandma, everyday with pictures and what they focused on each day in learning. As a nurse, I was very pleased with the infection control practices they implement each day as well. I am so thankful for Tanisha and her entire staff for all that they bring to families in our area. A clean, safe, fun school with innovative approaches to learning is a combination you can't find anywhere. You can at Primrose School at Sugarloaf! Thank you again!
