I had came here multiple times as I was indecisive about getting a dog or at least nervous about my capability of caring for 1. The employees were super patient with me during all three visits, let me know what to expect with the different breeds. After going home for the second time and doing research, I was finally comfortable to adopt a puppy after my third visit. I adopted a black cockapoo and had him for almost a year now and love him. Customer service and my lil pup was amazing and will not consider this place a scam (as described by other reviewers). When I adopted Ace, his vaccines were up to date and he still goes to the same vet til this day.That being said, I did remove 2 points from my review. Reason being, I took Ace for his first vet visit the weekend after I adopted him and the vet said he has an ear affection and I had to pay for the test as well as the medication. Vet explained that it looks like he had it for a while judging from the amount of wax. The contract said they will pay for anything within 3 days of discovery, unfortunately I was on day 5. Personally 3 days within discovery is too short and not sure how something as big as an ear infection was missed even I noticed the excessive itching which is what prompted me to go to the vet once able. Also, found out later that his tail was docked. New to puppies so I assumed it would grow so when it didn't I did some research and figured out his tail was docked. Still adorable but felt bad that he went through that.Also, I purchased the starter kit trusting that within the starter kit would be things that I will need. They did have the basics like leash a few toys and bowls but based on the quality of things within the kit, it was not worth the money at all. These are just a couple things to watch out for but other than that, happy with my experience.

Yeaaaah so I was here two days ago, and while I was talking with an associate another customer who had just purchased a puppy same day, had brought it back because it died in her back seat. All the confirmation I needed to turn away and never come back! I also have a frenchie puppy of my own so I made sure I aired out and disinfected myself before going home to make sure I wasn't carrying any cooties from the store. I would just suggest doing your research when not buying from an actual breeder. I got a waaaaay better deal from a breeder that drove up from Florida to meet and greet. And drove up again when I decided on taking my baby home. Also got AKC papers and paid half of what this store is charging.Lastly, the staff is extremely aggressive for a sale.

The manager Melissa is terrible about paying people on time and correctly, but the dogs are cute!

Don't purchase from this breeder, its a scam. They will take your money. Don't purchase a puppy at all. Its a scam. I lost my $500.00 down deposit. They don't ship puppy s at all. Don't trust this breeder, its a scam!!!!!!

If I could give less than one star I would and I haven't stepped foot inside their door, nor will I ever. Buyer beware the name of this company 'Local Breeders Puppies' is simply to make you think that these animals came from scrupulous and responsible breeders. I guarantee you that is not the case and I would bet my life on the fact that every puppy they have inside this business comes from a puppy mill. No good breeder is going to turn their puppies over to a retail organization. Educate yourselves people!! It's the 21st century for shits sake..... if you know nothing about puppy mills I highly suggest you Google it and do some research. You should be horrified upon completion.

I have avoided writing this review because I hate reliving such an awful experience. First off, I am certain the positive reviews on google are fake. Take note that the reviewers haven't reviewed other establishments. Also, look at the reviews on Yelp. Unless the owner starts putting fake reviews there, you will find a 2 of 5 average review from 62 reviews and very sad, true stories. Also look at the better business bureau files against them including when they ran a business in Florida. I made the mistake of not researching in advance, I am hoping to help others not do the same.The owner is harsh, cruel and does not care about the dogs. I gave up a huge deposit after I came across those reviews and started asking the owner questions. All I asked for was assurance - weight of the parents, proof of the breed. I received harsh and hateful responses. He told me that information was private, they would give no information about the parents and if I didn't get the puppy on assigned day I would give up my deposit and he would have no further discussion with me. It was really a terrible experience and after reading the other reviews and having that interaction, what should have been a joyful experience had me up at night with worry that I would get a sick dog or one with issues in a year due to improper breeding as others reported.They got a large amount of money from me but I had to go with my gut, wish I would have researched more before I made an emotional decision without asking questions. I prayed on it, found a local breeder where I could meet the parents, see their paperwork and call very happy referrals who sent me pics of siblings, ended up paying less and am so happy with the decision and our sweet, healthy puppy. Trust me, these are not good people and they only care about the money.

This place is a scam. After paying a fortune to get a puppy who Roger, the manager, guaranteed would be between 8-10lbs, the puppy is 9 months old and its already at 16lbs. He would tell you all lies just to sell the puppies. worst costumer service ever. DO NOT buy from them.The owner is the rudest person, and he hung up on me when I called to complain. I will be sending this to BBB, hope they close his business.
