It's like the real life Globo-Gym. If it's your kinda thing then by all means. Personally I would rather pick up heavy things and set them back down ...over and over again. At a smaller, more ratty kind of facility. But to each it's own. (Globo-gym is from the movie dodgeball btw)

Their personal training is nonexistent. They can't retain trainers long enough to train people. Just realized they are still charging me after I've been in the facility to cancel my personal training membership months ago. I haven't been able to book a session on their app for months. It doesn't have any available sessions for any trainers at this location. I will be finding another gym all together and reaching out to my first trainer, who now does private training. I should have read between the lines after she quit, the main guy was fired, the next trainer was left in a lurch when the main guy was fired, she also clearly did not follow or care to hear about some of my restrictions, so for my health I needed to find another one. Another one was hired, reached out to make an appointment, only to flake the day of the session due to transportation issues. This experience has been a joke since July 2024. I will be calling again to make it clear this is no longer an account you can take advantage of. Do better.

08/2004 Nice friendly people at the desk. Facility is nice and clean. Dan was friendly and informative. I appreciate the trainer who gave me pointers. I started on my membership today. Would've enjoyed a thorough tour of the facility.
11/2004 Started using the sauna at the end of workouts. I'm needing to focus on consistency with going to the gym and nutrition. I plan to start taking classes this week. I refuse to lose motivation.

LA fitness is going down the drain. Firstly they use the excuses from the pandemic and changed the gym hours from closing at 11pm M-F and now they close at 10 pm M-T and 9pm on Friday. Is a whole inconvenience for those that have late jobs. Today November 11, 2024. I get off from work at 6:00pm got there at 6:30 pm and the facility is closed. They just made the decision to reduce the hours due to the "fall season". Now LA Fitness went into daylight saving hours what a bunch of nonsense. This is 2024 if anything people should be able to go the gym at anytime. LA fitness instead of closing early, higher people that wants to work part time and extended the hours to midnight instead of reducing the more and more! Closing on weekends at 6:00 pm from the previous scheduled hours of 8:00 pm is a slap in the face to the members. Mind you these is not the best facility in the area as it is always overcrowded, all the benches in the sauna are disgusting, and the machines are always pending some type of service that usually takes many months. Shame on you LA Fitness. Are you reducing our monthly bill since you reducing the hours on weekends? These makes no sense!

I have gone to la fitness for the last 20 years. I will not be renewing my membership next year. They are now closing at 6:00 PM on the weekends instead of 8. They have already scaled back the hours on weeknights over the last several years. This is unacceptable. I have overlooked other things such as women cleaning the men’s locker room even though that makes me uncomfortable, dirty bathrooms, and people blasting music on huge jbl speakers that they brought into the gym, but I can’t overlook this latest decision.
