I have no idea what happened to customer SERVICE. I would suggest this location get themselves together very quickly because the facility is trash and so are the two employees at the front office today. The one lady with orange hair and loud perfume should work behind the scenes as she does not represent the YMCA brand. The one with red hair needs training because she is relying on the other employee for guidance and that is the issue. Between these two people they could not help me start a new membership. Orange head literally threw their price list at me and walked away. Why would I go there for any reason? Furthermore, the employee running the after-school program was screaming at the kids. One child stated "you are mean" and she actually agreed. She is too young and inexperienced to oversee such impressionable kids and clearly she does not care about their feelings. Get your kids out of there before they become traumatized.

I love this gym. I have been going here for years and I feel so welcome :). The coach approach program is amazing. The gym equipment is easy to use and the classes are great.

Their customer service is the worst. I had multiple issues with them this summer, including being registered for a wrong swimming class and having to jump through hoops for my refund (don't have it yet) even though it was their mistake. They prohibited my children from using the playground because of their day camp (the other Y's let them in just fine). The facility is outdated and broken down. They are saying their sauna is broken, but one of their employees told me that it is a lie. Apparently, they just don't want to put an employee there as they are required. They make arbitrary rules that don't make sense and force them on you while charging you an arm and a leg for the membership, and they never apologize for their mistakes. The front desk told me that he shouldn't apologize for their mistake because it was the manager who made it, and their manager said that he couldn't issue a refund because he had already turned off his computer. And forget about calling corporate. I have been waiting for their promised call back for months.

Honest&true:maybe Im in the wrong,..so, there are signs not to be on the phone when on the wellness floor and I was on the phone but I really had to take that call and it didn’t dawn on me to step off the treadmill and go in the hallway my mind was set on the phone call which was not personal but related to a health business call…here’s my thing I was literally whispering & don’t approach me aggressively and like I’m a child be a little more courteous ESPECIALLY IF IM PRACTICALLY THE ONLY ONE IN THE ROOM…there are only two people in here besides me and I’m the only one on the treadmills..come on there’s got to be a better way to get my attention and gently remind me of the rules…their approach was way to policing….I thought we treated members like family…I guess the people over here in wellness don’t think so…you guys should do better!!!!!! He made me feel attacked

I love this Y. The teachers of the group exercise classes learn your name and really care about you. The members of the class become friends. I especially love the Zumba and chair yoga classes. My coach, Doug, is also so caring and supportive. I am amazed I now look forward to going to exercise thanks to this Y!

I have been a member of the Y for over 20 years. I have experienced a little bit of everything there from group classes to coaching. The staff has always been welcoming and helpful. The instructors are amazing and always offer modifications to any exercises as needed to promote health and safety. It's also been a great place to build relationships with other members which motivates me to continue to workout!

Me and my wife change from PF to YMCA because it was closer to our house ( that was the main reason). A month later I can tell that we really like this place. Gym is very good and never crowded… swimming pool is great. I really recommend this place to anyone looking for a good fitness center.

I love your overall attitude of inclusivity and kindness amongst your staff. You have a clean and inviting facility. My babies enjoy the children's center. My 12 year old loves to volunteer, swim and be able to workout as a family. The Y has become an important part of our days!

So out dated and just overall not worth the money. They have a hot tub that has a "chemical unbalance" more than it's actually able to be used. The weight room is so small only can hold maximum 7 people. Just overall an absolute dump of a gym. Would rather do push-ups at home then ever step foot here again

I've only used the swimming facilities and whirlpool so far. That has been incredible. The Eastlake YMCA is modern and clean and aesthetically appealing. Also, the hours are great, and the staff is very personable. There's nothing not to like. It's a fantastic experience.

Long gone are the days YMCA was affordable and reasonable. I’m being charged $200 for canceling 2 weeks of camps 2-months in advance due to unforeseen circumstances. They just point to a policy they made themselves to justify not reimbursing our deposit. Even though they have plenty of time and will fill those spots anyway. All I asked was to transfer the deposit to the camp weeks I’m planning on keeping. Is that unreasonable or that hard to do? Just another way to extract more money from your pocket.Update: I actually got charged for the full rate of all the camps weeks I cancelled 2 months in advance. I had to be on top of them for them to issue a refund. They proudly say that your tuition helps them feed the homeless. In reality they receive such food from the county for free. And that’s the same food they provide kids during camp. Not even the counselors eat it and advised my kids they should bring their own food. They also stated they go canoeing at Tribble Mill for their Traditional camp. However the canoes have been broken down for awhile and they just go to the playground at Alexander Park instead.
