Ive had this bank for years. This year I really needed some extra help with getting some statments and documents prepared in a short amount of time. The team here was very supportive and helped me compile everything I needed. I really appreciate these people and this bank.

The Ameris Bank on Grayson Hwy - Lawrenceville, GA. Is my favorite financial institution.
Regardless of when I walk through the door, I am warmly greeted. This is my favorite business to visit because I am greeted warmly and everyone from Mr. Minauro down the ladder delivers quality service with a smile.

Ameris is not the same bank that Fidelity was before Ameris took over. I only like to transact business at the branch I started with but Ameris stopped during Covid to have it open on Saturdays and never went back so now the only branch open on Saturday is clear across town and not convenient for me. I needed to open a new account, we already have 5 with them, so I called first thing 6/20, a weekday, to find out who was working, since they change so often we no longer have a dedicated banker. I was told he was busy and gave the teller my name, what I was needing, he pulled me up and agreed it would be a short transaction due to our past business and I told him when I would be there, within a 15 min window and asked him to let the banker know I was coming across town on my limited lunch break for this appointment. I get there on the dot of the time I told the teller and found out I would have to wait behind three others, even though I had called for an appointment. The banker said he was told someone had called and was coming but was not given my name or a time to even make me an appointment. He did work quickly but it was still more than a half hour wait and I was due back to my office in 15 mins with a 20 min drive ahead of me. He did waive an activation fee for this new account for my wait and for our long history with the bank. In fact I was one of the first 500 customers when Fidelity opened here in my town. So I can only give this visit a 4 out of 5 for the reasons listed.
