Thankfully I saw the “writing on the wall” when I called the stylist. I called to ask her a simple question (if she felt comfortable with a certain hair texture) and the rude sarcastic way she responded was a clear ? for me!! I’m done with unprofessional stylist who think they can talk down to their clients. Plus you don’t want that energy in your hair. Father God thank you for your protection.

I love Mrs. D (Delivette) so much!! If you're thinking about going here then I highly suggest it because I've been going for a year now and I don't trust a single person with my hair unless it's Mrs. Delivette. Unlike other hair stylists, Mrs. D actually CARES about your hair and wants it to be healthy; she'll tell you what the issue is AND how to fix it, and is always open to questions about products you use or might consider using as well as general haircare information. She listens to the customer's needs and wants and is always, always, always open to trying a new style out, so don't be afraid to make some suggestions as she's an incredibly open-minded. Just remember that with Mrs. D, hair health comes before anything else. Personality wise she is an absolute treasure who I enjoy talking to about anything and everything; such a friendly and kind soul deserves all the business in the world and I wish her nothing but the best. 10,000/10 would totally recommend.

Thanks to Delivette Moore, salon owner and stylist, for providing BEST service in Lawerenceville. Delivette is truly a caring stylist and dedicated to her customers. She listens to her customers and provides excellent service. She believes in healthy hair and uses only professional products. Embrace U Salon is very friendly, warm and professional. So I purchase a 40 dollar Groupon that was supposed to cover One Permanent color with a Wash and Style. When the Stylist was ready for me I had explained to her that I purchased a Groupon, she then touched my hair and said well you’re natural so this will be an additional 50 dollar fee. So I just decided to go through with it because I had driven from Athens for this appointment and really needed my hair done at this point. But honestly thinking back that might of been a sign to not go through with the color. I sit in the chair and then she starts to put the product in to start lifting my natural color, after she gets towards the middle of my head she says oh yeah this is going to cost more, i didn’t realize how much hair you had. So the price just kept going up until it was 75 dollars on top of the 40 dollar Groupon I had purchased prior to the appointment. My hair did start smoking while I was in the chair so she rinsed it out. In my head I’m just thinking like why did I go through with this!! So she rinses that out then puts the actual dye in. So after she rinses it out she asks me how I wanted it styled. And I told her wanted it straight because I haven’t had it straightened since I’ve been natural. We get back over to her station and she blow drys it and starts to straightening it. Then she tells me my ends were split pretty badly can she clip them. I said it was fine. Then she continues straightening, but then becomes very persistent in me getting some curls. So I was like that’s fine. So she curled me up. So now I know the curls were to camouflage how burnt my hair was. And At first I’m like okay it’s nice even though it wasn’t the color that I wanted. I get home and notice how dry my hair feels. But I didn’t think anything of it because I just had those chemicals put in. I say all this to say that was in April it is now June 6 my hair has been falling out, no matter how much moisture I’ve put in it it stays dry. I’ve even thought about doing a big chop all over again. So one I never got the color I wanted! Two my hair is falling out! Three I was charged even more after she started putting the product in my hair. Her personality was very sweet and bubbly but the actual service and chemical knowledge needs work! I’ve been debating leaving this review. But I just got really emotional with how much hair I’ve just had to throw away. I could have just went back, but it would have probably been pointless. And all the reviews were good when I looked them up. Maybe I should’ve just left when she said she was going to charge me 50 extra dollars. I just hope nobody else has to go through this. Oh and the stylist I had was Del the owner.

Delivette did my hair for my wedding and I loved it!!!. Love her especially her positive energy. I finally found my lifetime hair stylist after 30 years of trying many salons.

Great salon. The owner Delivette is professional and listens to what you want. She takes time to explain options and style choices. She is creative and is willing to do different style. She take the time to study different styles and techniques which benefits me because I love to try different styles. The salon is clean, has wifi and is conveniently located near nice food options which is a plus.

ive started my dreads at this salon and have got them maintained every month at this same salon and i can honestly say that they work miracles with my hair . so far , ive had no problems from the staff and this will continue being the ONLY salon i allow to work on my hair . shoutout to Mrs . Dee for keeping me right !

the excitement about doing hair! and I love how organized they are with there clients. appointment was 7:30. it's 8:35 and only thing left to do is flat iron. most places I would still be waiting!!!!!.....

Embrace U Salon & Spa offers excellent and professional service. When you walk into the salon, you feel like you are at home with the beautiful décor and comfortable seating while you wait. My stylist is Delivette and she is always offering professional advice about the care of your hair. She always listen to the desire of the style you want for your hair, but always is offering the "right" style based on your face features and of course with my busy travel schedule the style I can work with it that I can get up and go!!! I always appreciate the honest answers because I tend to ask a lot of questions, but It doesn't matter how many I ask... I ask get a "DIRECT" and polite answer... Thank you!!! Also all of the other stylist are always friendly and willing to help the other stylist out when necessary... That's salon teamwork!!! Keep up the good work!!! Laura Kight
