The best care. Thank you. The vet is beyond amazing. He's a nice guy that is knowledgeable, professional, and proficient. I 100% recommend anyone to bring their animals here.

Im heartbroken. I noticed my cat katy looked a little weak and she lost some weight, so i decided to take her to Lawrenceville Animal Care Center. I've been taking her there every week for the last 3 weeks trying to figure out what's wrong with her. Tim grubbs the vet there looked like he had no idea what he was talking about and didn't really care about my katy. First when i took her i told him to do the senior package that's recommended for cats over 7 years. The senior package was supposed to include Complete Blood Count, Serum Chemistry Profile, Complete Urinalysis, Thyroid Hormone Levels, ECG, X-Rays, etc according to the pet's need and was $161. They charged me $212 and said all they did was blood work, they put a big needle inside her to get her urine sample and didn't even get any. Tim Grubbs also said katy had some dental issues but it wasn't serious and doesn't need extraction. I was supposed to get the blood test results back the next day which was Friday, I've been waiting all day worried and i get no call, i called on Monday tired of waiting and the receptionist said the results came in already and the doctor will call me later, again he didnt call, i called back Tuesday upset, then Tim Grubbs said sorry i 'forgot' to let you know results came back fine. Then he says maybe its a skin disease, bring her and I'll give her allergy and depo shots, without even checking her skin, i told him i dont think its a skin problem, its blood coming from her mouth. I took her in that Thursday and there was another doctor who said she was sure that it was dental issue, she was very rude and wouldn't let me talk, kept saying she has seen many cases like this and Tim Grubbs said yes yes its dental, when last visit he said her teeth were not as bad. I told him atleast make sure it is from the mouth and not the skin since he said it was skin disease first, he refused to look at her skin and gave her an antibiotic shot. He told me to set up an appointment to do her dental extraction. I signed papers saying do not sedate if any risk arises, everytime i tried to tell them her symptoms they weren't even listening to me. I already felt like Tim Grubbs had no idea what he was talking about, i wanted to take her to a different vet but she wasn't being able to eat and i thought it would waste more time if i take her elsewhere, i just wanted her teeth to be extracted if that was the problem. I couldn't get availability the whole week for the surgery, finally this Tuesday the 28th of March, i got her an appointment to get her teeth extracted and he calls me saying 'i found cancer under her tongue after sedating her, i wont wake her up, is that okay?' Who says that?! Thats my baby. Im sure he messed up in the sedation process, if a cat is not looking healthy enough to handle sedation then why would you use sedation specially when i signed papers saying not to? I told him to wake her up, i need second opinion and ill take her to a cancer specialist, he calls me after 5 mins saying 'oh i cant do anything, the mass is so big that i cant find airway to put breathing tube in, her heart rate is stopping. I cant save her'. When i went to the clinic, he tried to give me bullshit reasons, he was contradicting himself, i told him if she had such a big mass and wasn't breathing properly then why would you sedate her in that situation, he said she was breathing perfectly before. How was she breathing perfectly before but after sedation the mass is suddenly so big that he cant even find an airway to put a breathing tube in? I I researched after that oral cancer is the most common in older cats, how does a vet who's been seeing her every week not have any idea or think of that possibility with all those symptoms? He killed my baby, even if it was cancer, he delayed the process for 3 weeks and made her suffer so much and gave her no chance of survival. He didn't even pay attention to symptoms when i was telling him, a person like this shoul

I chose Lawrenceville Animal Care Center in August 2019 when I acquired my doggy Oreo as a puppy. They have taken care of Oreo since she was a few months old, including spaying surgery and helping us when she had a sour stomach and was vomiting and wouldn't eat. There's a reason Dr. Grubbs is one of the top rated Vets in Atlanta Metro. He is amazing and caring and his staff is awesome. Thanks for taking care of my baby dog (Oreo is now two years and two months old) If you want a fantastic Vet and staff, and a location that cares for the health and well-being of your pet, you need to have Lawrenceville Animal Care Center in Lawrenceville as your primary Vet.

I have been taking my cats here for over 20 years. They are compassionate and have done excellent with annual visits, exams, and treatments. It is obvious that Dr. Grubbs cares for each animal. I highly recommend them.

Two weeks ago, the office scheduled my puppy for second round of vaccinations for 11/13/20 @ 10am. I called and spoke with Erica this morning and was told my appointment is 11/14/20. I stated the appointment card shows 11/13/20 at 10am. Erica clearly wasn't phased, as she didn't offer an apology or try to fit us in since this was THEIR mistake. I've cancelled my appointment and will look for another veterinarian that will consider patients' time as being essential.

We discovered this cute little gem when we adopted our 6 week old baby boy Riley. He was so small that I could carry him around in my purse. From his very first appointment there until now almost 3, they have and continue to be very kind, loving and truly passionate about what they do. Andrea is amazing, along with Brittany, Amy and of course Dr. Grubbs. He's not much of a talker but anything we've needed for Riley, he has supplied. You can't beat the groomers, Leslie and her team are so loving. I know that when I drop off my baby, he will be taken care of like he is apart of their family. I would highly recommend this team if you are seeking a professional, well educated and friendly vet office! They also board and have a great selection of dental, treats and food products for both cats and dogs. 8 minutes away and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The Craig's

THEY CUT MY DOG'S EAR‼ I hate to be this person, but I have to warn anyone who is thinking about taking their dog here to get groomed. My brother dropped my dog off so I'm not sure who the groomer was but they did a terrible job. You can tell whoever cut my pup's hair wasn't well trained, if at all. His hair is noticeably uneven, and his genitals are shaved almost to the skin except for the tip of his penis where they left all the hair to hold bacteria. All of this, in addition to charging me for unnecessary vaccinations that his record shows he had. Unfortunately, my brother was unaware and agreed to this. Needless to say I will not bring my dog here again.

Overlooked cancer diagnosis. I had been bringing my golden retriever to them since I got her . When she was about 7 she developed lumps. We got them checked semi-annually. Around the time of her 8th birthday she would whine incessantly. We had her in 4 times within 6 months, did multiple labs and they couldn't find anything wrong. We finally decided to take her to UGA and found out she had cancer spread all over her body. Just not sure how after all those visits and tests that could've been overlooked

This vet clinic is perfect. I adopted my cat from there and they always watch her when I have to leave town. They have great boarding services and their staff is super friendly and helpful. I especially like Brittany, she always takes care of me. But all the front desk girls are awesome too.

I called on a Friday at 4:15. My cat had lose bowel movements and a major rash on her back end. They were able to get me an appointment Saturday morning at 9:30am. I asked them " unless you guys can see my cat today". She spoke to the doctor and I brought my cat in within 10 minutes. The next day, my cat was feeling a little bit better. Continuing treating her but wanted to say thank you for adjusting your day to a** my cat. Great vet!
