The two gentlemen who delivered my furniture was amazing and professional. Not only did they deliver my bedroom set they also assembled it. Also it did not take them very long. Great job guys.

If you get Sharon Purifoye as your point of contact for moving - RUN.
I have moved 9 times in my life, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Sharon constantly pushed hard, came off condescending, and made the entire move feel like I was getting scammed the entire way. Not only that, the movers created serious water damage when I notified Sharon she simply said “I don’t have time to deal with you anymore”. Overcharged, under delivered, and Sharon was the worst customer service/sales oriented person I’ve contacted or worked with.
Sharon did a virtual survey that came out to significantly more weight than what we actually had, when I pushed back I was met with a “I don’t expect you to know how to do this I’m the expert we’re proceeding as is but don’t worry if anything gets added like a washer and dryer and it ends up being more then it’s the same binding price!” Sure enough, the washer dryer wasn’t added so I requested it be included, which increased the price….when I called Sharon out and showed her the receipts of what she sent me I was met with condescending comments and rude remarks.
This entire move was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life moving, the movers/packers were pleasant, even one of the coordinators named Robin was quite pleasant and helpful, but Sharon was an absolute nightmare to work with. I would not recommend and will not use them for my next move.

This morning at around 9:45 a.m., our staff was in a meeting, and we noticed the 18-wheeler trying to enter our front entrance gate. At that time a maintenance technician went outside to tell them that this type of truck is NOT allowed on our property. The truck driver totally ignored him and proceeded to drive onto our property. Later in the day at approximately 3:00, we saw them attempting to leave. The driver parked the truck directly in the way of incoming traffic and the line of cars went all the way to the street waiting for him to move. As our maintenance supervisor informed him that he had to move, he said, NO. Unbelievable as the Supervisor had on his uniform clearly identifying himself as an employee. He refused to move. I had to come out there to inform him that he cannot impede the incoming traffic and I expressed that if he listed to our staff member this morning, he wouldn't have a problem driving off the property. Hence, this is why these types of trucks are not allowed. The driver had someone with him that flipped the bird at my staff member and the driver was extremely argumentative. I'm not sure how this company vets their employees, but you need to do a better job. I took pictures of the vin #, license plate and company name. I'm going to write the company to complain about the unprofessional drivers.

The packers and movers with Berger were fantastic. Particularly my driver, Erik. I would give 5 stars, but there was a particularly substantial snafu on the audit and billing side. The auditor over estimated my move by 2X the weight and conveyed that it would be adjusted according to actuals. After everything was calculated they then told my I had signed a SET price guarantee and that was just the price. Which would have been $3500 more than my actuals.Obviously, no. So, when I explained and frankly had to push a bit, they then gave a refund to my proper pricing. This did require documented proof of the starting and ending truck weigh in (which luckily Erik had for me).So, summary: Bergers movers, packers and driver were excellent. Just watch the auditor and don't let them rush you through the type of pricing you are signing!

Out of state move from GA to KY, excellent moving teams on both ends of trip. Great communication & reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend & use again!

I needed to move furniture I had inherited from my parents from a storage facility in Atlanta to one in Northern Virginia. I contacted Allied after googling movers in Atlanta & looking at online reviews. I was contacted right away by Bill, the booking agent and after a phone call to discuss my needs was directed to Robin, the move coordinator. They sent information about cost & time frame. After reviewing several options, we chose this company. They coordinated w/a hauling agent driver who contacted us immediately for details. Robert, the driver they contracted, was excellent. Very timely communication, very polite, right on time for pick up. Robert, Jovani & another gentleman loaded our belongings carefully and efficiently. We were told which day to expect delivery. Robert was right on time & everything was unloaded into the Virginia storage facility. I would not hesitate to call this company again. Old fashioned customer service and work ethic.

Excellent. Movers at both ends were great. Driver Eddy is a great guy as well. Reasonable cost, excellent value. Bill Harrison was able to accurately estimate my cost virtually and provided other tips as well. Robin M. worked close with me to coordinate everything on both ends. Very happy with my choice. And, remember to tip your movers! :)
