Kathy, the postmaster general, is the most unprofessional person ever! I don’t know how she still has a job, and she should be ashamed of her behavior!

I would give them zero stars if possible and all because of one lousy clerk. I went there today to mail a greeting card. The clerk told me that because it would not bend I would have to mail it Ground Advantage (a package rate) and it would be "about $5.95". I mailed the same thing about a week prior and it was less than two dollars. He would only say, "It won't bend" and just because I paid less the last time "Doesn't make it right. I've been doing this a long time." No doubt he has. It's a government job. He couldn't get away with his sorry customer service (I use that term loosely) in a private company. I wasn't about to pay 5.95 to mail a card. I took it elsewhere where I paid the regular postage including a surcharge of 44 cents and the total was still under 2.00.
I hate going here when this man is "working". He is also slow...and the last time I was there he was flirting with some woman and talking about fried chicken places, Hardees having fried pecan pies in some other city and discussing what grocery stores they have up north. etc as a line formed. He could tell I was getting impatient waiting as he continued talking. When I got to the counter he sarcastically asked me if I was okay...then proceeded to tell me that the package I was mailing was too small. He then determined that it was a commercial package and I could mail it. I've been mailing packages for a long time and have never had such horrible experience with a postal worker. Terrible location because of this man. Avoid if you don't want a hassle every time you go.

One of your workers is on a major power trip. He’s already been called out in other comments. He’s beyond ridiculous and loves to nitpick things that other post offices don’t have a problem with. I’ve never had a problem with this PO until encountering him.

It should be a 0 star rating. The Post Master General and the guy behind the counter are the rudest, most unhelpful and lack customer service skills. They shouldn't be allowed to work with the public. Took packages to be sent out and they were all refused because of masking tape. They have accepted, and processed packages with masking tape on them before. Took same packages to the Valdosta USPS and were processed. The guy behind counter said he has heard really bad things about them and the Lake Park office. My advice is to drive to other locations and stay away from Lake Park.

Everyone in this post office is good and helpful, except for the big bald guy. He tries everything to not send your package or makes u pay for extra stuff that are not needed. I send the same packages every week and he is the only one that always has a problem with. My packages are approved in every post office including this one, unless his there. I failed to send my stuff to my clients today due to his baldness being there wated me to buy their package when my label was paid in full. They need to fix this guy immediately. Until then my star n review here stays the same. The black guy to b exact

The last delivery person we had was awesome. This new guy is a POS. Is it standard practice to stand 5 feet off the porch and throw packages towards the door? Besides that, it would have fit in the mail box he parked next to. If you're too lazy to walk the last 5 feet, just put it in the mailbox!

Today October the 22nd 2023 was one of the worst experience I have had in the US Post Office in the one special is the post office in Lake Park Georgia the lady over the post office is one of the nastiest humans I've seen in a long time she do not deserve to be in that position and several people that I spoke with said the same thing about her I had Witnesses on the phone while I was up there so they heard her as she told lies and she wanted to call the police I said call them I didn't I go anywhere I stayed that's that privilege or should I say thinking you have privilege I am just as privilege it's the next person she don't need that job and I'm going to say that and I'm going to say that but I'm going to do and complain to the US Post Office until something happens believe that and she was cussing the works unprofessional very unprofessional to every letter in the alphabet

It should be called the United States post office instead of United States postal service.Service has absolutely nothing to do with the way they conduct business!!!

During my recent visit to the local post office, I had a mixed customer service experience that I feel compelled to share. I encountered a particular issue with one staff member that left me concerned. The individual in question seemed to display a recurring pattern of being impolite and having a dismissive attitude towards customers, including myself. It is essential for any organization to address such behavior, as it can negatively impact the overall reputation and customer satisfaction.I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of the circumstances. I hope that the management of the post office takes this feedback seriously and considers providing additional training or support to their staff to ensure consistent and excellent customer service.I want to emphasize thatjust my intention is not to single out anyone but rather to highlight the importance of addressing any customer service issues that may arise within the organization. Just know it was the black guy tho.

These are the most miserable, unhelpful employees i’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Every time I come in here they’ve talked down to me like i’m dumb, and have always found something to nitpick over even when i’m doing everything correctly. If you ship a package here, god forbid your shipping label be one centimeter too close to the edge, or the employees will have a meltdown over their labels not fitting next to it. Don’t waste your time, go to a different post office.

Very disrespectful and Racist on top of that..I am 62 years old and never once been talked to so rude in my life...these people will live a long sad lonely life. What happened to the days when a postal worker would actually do the job THEY APPLIED FOR and help a customer with a issue?..it's all right there in the job description and this is not happening because the postal workers want to take out there problems on the customer...this will drive people to stand one day and once that happens you want like it so I suggest you mind your tounges and do you DAM JOBS!

Rude. Didn’t bother asking his name just left. I will never use USPS moving forward particularly Lake Park.
