I am so sick of only ONE register open with several people waiting and one person standing and watching. Customer service is getting customers in and out promptly!!!!!! Screw the self checkout when you have an entire buggy of groceries!!! I'll go to Publix from now on. This happened MULTIPLE times!

Clean, always stocked, helpful staff, never crowded. The only thing they could do to make me like them more is keep the buggies with the car seat bucket up close for easy access, and purchase some Caroline's Carts for the special needs community and the elderly.

Customer service and appreciation have always been key in my businesses and in the regular jobs that I've had in the past. How you take care of a person stays with them a long time if not forever. The reason I am rating this Walmart is because of just 1 occurrence with one cashier! I know some of you may think this is unfair but let me explain and then you decide. I have had two knee replacements and a hip replacement plus have a spinal stimulator in my back. I can walk with assistance but I have had a few recent falls and a serious head injury which caused a concussion so I'm a bit more unsteady on my feet. So I was using an electric wheelchair this day. I had quite a lot of items in my cart so it would have been inconvenient for me to use the self checkout as I've done in the past. There was only one register open with 3 people waiting and a closed register that had a cashier taking a woman with a lot of groceries. I approached the cashier and asked if she could take me and assist me with checking out. She told me the closed sign was apparent. So I said that the other lane had 3 customers waiting and perhaps she could help the other cashier by taking a few minutes more to clear the line. I wasn't asking for "special" treatment as I was willing to allow others to go ahead of me. She said I'm closed and the customer also pointed out the closed sign. So although upset, I quietly moved to a self checkout and began scanning items. I looked over at that same cashier and she had begun taking a couple with just a few items! So I said I thought you were closed to which she replied well I'm open now! So WOW! You obviously were too lazy to take care of a person with a lot of items and obviously has mobility issues plus a bunch of other issues that would warrant a little extra help getting her groceries packed and paid for. So I tried to compose myself and I asked her name, she walked away from the register yelling something to the other Walmart employees around. I was infuriated and too upset to wait to find a manager so I sent a complaint to the Walmart.com website and to date have not received any reply. Not even a "we received your message and will look into it" message! Nothing! So this girl is pulling the 25 years plus that I've dealt with Walmart business and countless hours and dollars I've spent in all of their store and online! I've always honored , respected and cared for and about all of my customers whether in person or on the phone! If anyone ever had a complaint or concern about me, my employees or my business, I immediately addressed it! I never would take that type of behavior from any one of my employees!

Where has the Walmart Neighborhood Market been all of my adult life? Oh my gosh- Open 24 hours,, self checkouts, drive through pharmacy, full grocery store, low prices, huge variety, centrally located and without having to deal with the crowds, chaos and craziness of the other Walmart across town? Need to return an item purchased online or at the super center? Take it to the neighborhood market's customer service counter! The line will be shorter and the customer service will be friendlier. Money transfers? Neighborhood market. Buy online and want to do in store pick up to avoid shipping costs? Schedule your pick up at the neighborhood market. Need gas? They have that too. The only disadvantage I have noticed is the bakery does not seem to offer as much as the super centers do but they do have a bakery/deli with a variety of menu options. If you are a Walmart bingo connoisseur, I suggest you go to the Walmart Super Center. If you don't know what Walmart Bingo is, I suggest you google it and make sure you aren't a qualifying square.
