I have always been a faithful supporter of Goodwill. I have shopped at stores located all over Georgia. It used to be my favorite past time. Not so much anymore. The prices have become utterly ridiculous. I have always used my phone to Google prices of whatever I'm looking at to see if I'm getting a bargain or to see if an item is a collectable or to just get general information on something I'm considering purchasing. I have found that the price gap between new in the store and used at Goodwill has gotten much smaller. Makes no sense to me to pay as much or more for a used item that I can buy somewhere else brand new. I can't count the times I have spotted Dollar Tree items for 2, 3 even 4 and 5 dollars at Goodwill. I mean I understand that the store much make a profit but it's getting ridiculous especially considering that everything in the store is donated.
