I went to the pharmacy today to pick up a prescription. There is absolutely NO WAY to get in touch with this pharmacy before coming in- they don't allow patients to call and they also do not return calls from online messaging. We had an insurance change.
It was pouring down rain so I opted to go through the drive thru at about 445. I sat in line behind at least 4 cars for almost 40 minutes. When I got to the window I gave them my insurance card and they asked me to pull around to THE END OF THE LINE. There were at least 5 cars behind me. I said no, I would have provided this information earlier today but there is no way to contact you unless I'm physically here. I'm not getting out of my car to wait in the store, it is pouring, and I've already been waiting almost an hour to get up here, I'm not going to wait another hour when the prescription is ready and this delay is not my fault.
The pharmacist here has been rude every single time I've come through this line. Completely unprofessional and refuses to actually help her patients. They told me a rebill would take at least 30 minutes and I would have to either come in or pull around to the back of the line. I again said NO, I just needed my prescription and the pharmacist came to the window and threatened to call the law to move me out. I asked for the number to corporate CVS and they refused to give it to me. I am HIGHLY angry about this situation as I am now out of this medication and this whole thing could have been prevented if they would have entered the insurance info instead of yelling at me saying I was inconveniencing THEM.
This structure at CVS where I can't call ahead to give this information is ridiculous. The customer service in this store is completely lacking. I have never had issues like this with a pharmacy. Threatening to have me arrested for trying to get my medications is appalling. I was not threatening anyone or being verbally abusive. I will never fill a prescription at this pharmacy again nor will any of my family. Absolutely awful. I would give zero stars if it would let me.

The Pharmacy is poorly ran. At times, the employees bicker back and forth in front of customers on who will work the counter, causing long wait times. They need a permanent Pharmacist.

The customer service at CVS Pharmacy is horrible. We decided to go through the drive thru to get my dad's medication. We were told that they would be with us shortly. After waiting 10 minutes, we left because no one helped us. We went back the next day to pick up the prescription at the pharmacy. There was no one in line and the pharmacy had 2 pharmacy techs and a pharmacist. The pharmacist helped the person at the drive thru. One pharmacy tech looked at us with dear in headlights and continued filling a prescription. The other pharmacy tech hid behind the computer in the back. The pharmacist asked the techs to go to the register to help us and they ignored him. The pharmacist eventually helped us. I am not really sure what the pharmacy tech responsibilities are, but I would guess that they should be helping at the register rather than the pharmacist. I would use the Lafayette Pharmacy if you enjoy waiting in line with no service. I will have my dad switch pharmacies ASAP.

(Ill bump 1 star since after this review wifes txt alerts started working) First edit: Has been a poor experience with pharmacy ...constantly saying they will fill and then never do. Came THREE times for one thing that they never filled. Even wife has same problems of then saying they are filling but don't actually do so until you show up, then further make you wait. Their auto system doesn't work either with updates even after confirming number 3x. Id avoid when i can

I walk with a cane and not able to get around good,went to get my prescription and drive through was closed due to no employees had to struggle and go inside.

Order photos and one of my photos didn’t turn out good at no fault to the company I reordered the one print in black and white and the sweet woman at the Front counter gave it to me for free. I thought that was really good Customer Service. A+

The employees are always courteous and helpful. Twice the pharmacist has had to redo my prescription and she did so willingly and very courteously, in spite of the extra work and that it was not due to any error on their part . I am appreciative because a three month supply was cost prohibitive for me. I’ve always had a pleasant experience at this location.

Hate having to come here it is always a wait and 9 out of ten times any of my medicine or my kids medicine is never ready, there always seems to be a twenty min wait on each car going thru the drive thru , never fails they act like they are slammed every day I’m not sure if it’s just carelessness or maybe they have been short staffed for years .
