Typical small town dealer. They price vehicles high in a typical small town way. People who research prices and want a good deal will find this dealer humorless. They don't want to sell cars. They want to fleece buyers.

I took my car in to have leak in sunroof looked at and when I get it back the sunshade is tore up. It literally hangs now when open and my grandkids loved riding with sunroof but can't now because it hangs in their face. They agreed to fix until they found out cost then said oh he didn't touch it. Refusing to pay for damage. This is not right and someone needs to pay for this.

Allowed myself to be talked into purchasing a 2021 used Bronco in 2022 from David Strickland and Mitch Denley, with the promise to buy back the used vehicle for what I paid, upon the purchase of a new Bronco. Let me just preface this with, they came to me, I did not go to them looking to purchase a used Bronco. They told me that my newly purchased 2021 Explorer was steadily loosing its value, and that I needed to get out of it as soon as possible. David (sales rep) called us in 03/17/2023, while in Charleston for my husbands birthday to request that we come into the dealership to see a new Bronco just off the truck. We did (ending my husband's birthday travel early) to look at the vehicle. I agreed to purchase that vehicle. Mitch came into David's office stating that the used Bronco had lost so much value that he was afraid he'd lose his job over the agreement previously made. Asked us to give him a few days. No call. New Bronco arrived 06/28/2023. No one called. Went in on 07/04/2023; finding my Bronco on their lot with an inflated price. When I asked David & Mitch why my Bronco was on their lot, Mitch approached me in a very aggressive manner, telling me I needed to speak with him in his office. I am a female, and requested that another sales rep come with me. At that time, Mitch started screaming at me, on the sales room floor to "get out!" He also stated "I am not the one;" further yelling to "get out" while pointing at the door. I had to call Kingsland PD to file a report showing that they were refusing me my purchase. My husband and I have either purchased, or sent them 26 car deals within the past several years. There will never be another one. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by anyone, much less a business. Did I mention that they failed to refund my deposit on the new Bronco, even after deciding to sell it on their lot? They're also avoiding having to accept the overly inflated ($62,000) used Bronco that they promised to buy back.

I went to Murray Ford of Kingsland to purchase a vehicle, this was my first time at this dealership. After picking out the vehicle that I would like to have, thats where things went downhill, while I was in with the finance guy, while he talking to he started using curse words which I thought it was very unprofessional. After I left the dealership, I realized I left my house keys on the old key fob so I texted my salesman and told him I would pick up my keys the next day. On the way home and back to the dealership, I noticed that the new truck was pulling to the right and when I got to dealership to pick up my keys I let the salesman know about the truck pulling, he went and told his boss and they had it checked out. After I got the vehicle back, I was told everything was good. When I got home I noticed that the windshield had a chip that was not there before. I went back and forth with dealership and after over a week they finally sent a glass company to repair glass, the repair was done poorly and I told glass guy I was not satisfied with repair, he told me to call dealership and see what they would do. I called dealership with no luck in talking with a manager, after two days, they haven't called which is typic of this dealership, so contacted Ford Customer Service and filed a complaint. From the reviews I have read, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Still waiting for my windshield to be replaced. I gave a 1 rating only because the rating does not start with a 0.

I debated writing this review for some time, but I've come to realize that my experience with Murray Ford was absolutely unacceptable and not the norm. I went to Murray Ford over a year ago to look at some used vehicles. The salesman helped me find something in the range I was looking to spend. We looked at the numbers and went back and forth, but it was getting late so we couldn't finalize anything and I believe the finance manager had even left for the night. The salesman had me sign a paper which he said would allow me to take the car home for the night and come back and finish the deal and financing the next day. Once I got home I saw where the paint was peeling on the vehicle. A google search showed that particular vehicle was notorious for having the paint peel. So I came back the next day and informed the salesman I didn't want the car. He asked if there was anything he could do. I said no. He then asked if I'd wait a moment and got the finance manager and both of them talked with me to see if there was anything they could do to keep my business. I apologized again for changing my mind but told them that was the only car they had in my budget. They both said they understood and though they were disappointed they said I was fine to walk away. A few hours later the sales manager called me and was immediately, what I felt to be, very hostile. He told me that he had my signature on paperwork and I was legally obligated to purchase the vehicle. Again, I never signed anything to finance the vehicle or finalize a sale. I signed what I was told was some sort of waiver to take the car home for the night since I didn't technically own it yet. This was my first experience ever buying from a dealership so I was unsure of my rights. The sales manager continued that if I didn't buy the car he would come after me legally. I explained to him why I had changed my mind about the car and he then told me something along the lines of...my guy spent three hours with your family yesterday trying to work out a deal for this car. So you're going to have to buy it or something else on this lot. He's gonna get something out of spending time working with you yesterday. So I came back, ended up buying a brand new car that I could barely afford all because he threatened me with legal action. Thankfully because the used market has been so strong the last couple of years I was eventually able to sell the car. I've now been looking for another car over the past year and have dealt with several other dealerships. After talking with these other dealerships and asking lots of questions, I have come to realize that the sales manager at Murray completely bullied me into doing something I probably didn't actually have to do. I definitely blame myself for not doing more research at the time to see if the sales manager's claims were legit, but again, my lack of knowledge/experience combined with the level of intimidation he used lead to what happened. No one should be strapped with a five year financial burden because they took 3 hours of a salesman's time.

Well I just picked up our 4th vehicle from Murray last week. Husband and I bought new ones from them in 2018 and we already turned those in for other ones! Thanks David and Mitch along with the whole team there, you really went out of your way to find me the car I wanted, and I love it!!

By far this is one of the best dealerships I've been to. Customer service is huge for me and Murray Ford, excels in that area. Everyone from the receptionist, Service and Sales has been great. Quality customer service is extremely important. I've had my vehicle serviced at Murray a few times, each visit I leave happy and satisfied. They exceed my expectations every time. Having a dealership be connected to their customers in this way, isn't common, at least not in my experiences. Times are tough for many in the automotive sales, due to the semiconductor shortage. Yet, Murray isn't acting like they are angry or sad like Duval Ford. They are small, yet deliver a huge amount of quality care. I am thankful

Had a buyers agreement to purchase a vehicle at full advertised price issued on a Friday evening. During the process of finalizing the payment on Tuesday, we were informed that they sold the vehicle... No phone call, no discussion about it. If this is how they do business, I recommend you buy your vehicles elsewhere. They did this knowing that the purchase was being made through a Fleet Leasing company (could not be done over weekend and would take a few days to process) that buys thousands of vehicles each year and will also likely not purchase any more vehicles from this dealer. Good job, Murray Ford. Specifically, the salesperson was Mike Garcia and the agent helping me on Friday was JP. Thanks for the phone call, guys!

Love this place! David was amazing and fun to interact with. Great salesman! The finance department really worked hard on my deal and truly cared if I was their customer.
