What are human societys good for you call them for a dog that gets dumped to try to get it of the streets, they tell you they will take take it then call back 30 mins later to say we can’t take it, they want to post about people dumping dogs then don’t take ones you find that been dumped. Hmmm I wonder why people dump dogs.

Amazing people who work there! They saved my dog Bailey and was so kind and understanding! Along with the person who found him, his entire body trapped in quicksand kind of mud or something and I guess trying to dig out he dug himself further until only his head showed and couldn't get out, he wouldn't be with me today. He is 15 years old and I had searched everywhere and thank God he had been found and taken care of until I could figure out where he was. Thanks guys y'all are truly amazing!!

Polite and compassionate staff and management. They were a great with helping guide our old girl over the rainbow bridge. Will definitely make sure to donate supplies and food for animals as they always need donations.

September 2023 by no way
I have donated to this organization, I have fostered animals for this organization, and I have adopted from this organization - I guess I will be helping another organization from here on, there is nothing "Humane" about the way they operate. They seriously looked me in the eye and asked for $400 to surrender a litter of kittens that were born on my back porch. You have absolutely got to be kidding me. These are not my animals. And then we wonder why we have videos of people dropping them off on the side of the road.Absolutely Ridiculous.

I found this poor little cat, soaking wet and in need of emergency care. She was not moving. She was huddled up and had clearly been there through all the rain we've been having. They WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK AT HER. Not very Humane in my opinion.

I called on July 5th and set a time for today July 7th to come and adopt a kitten. The person on the phone said they would let the foster family know so they could meet us. After driving an hour to the Humane Society to what I thought was to adopt said kitten I was informed that there was another person there to look at the kitten. I was unable to get said kitten because the other person just so happened to get to the building before me. They say there is a first come first serve policy which I understand but had I known someone else would beat me there today I would of juggled my time to be here earlier. But my question is why is it not first come first serve as far as who put the application in. That would be more fair. Or not set it up for 2 people to come the same day. So now I have to drive an hour back to Jacksonville without the new addition to our family. I would not recommend this place. Also their manager didn't help in any way to resolve this more efficiently she just kept saying "we have a first come first serve policy". That policy needs to be changed!!!

My grandmother adopted a kitten last week. She called me this morning, crying, to tell me the kitten died overnight. The kitten, Bela - you knew her as Sunny, curled up on my Gramma’s chest and went to sleep for the last time. Gramma is heartbroken. My kid cousin? Devastated.Bela went to our trusted vet just two days ago, and Gramma was told that Bela had round worms and was way too small and way too young to have been spayed. She couldn’t even get shots that day. Despite the medicine and supplements and mother’s milk, they couldn’t nurse her little body back to health. This kitten didn’t stand a chance. Why was she spayed so young? She was well under two pounds. My brother just adopted a kitten a couple months ago from another humane society and they required that he foster until the kitten was big enough to be neutered and then he could officially adopt. Instead, you guys set this kitten up for failure and set my grandmother up for heartbreak. How could you not know better?

It's a very intimate place if your looking to find you a pet for your home! They definitely had plenty of medium to large size terrier breeds. Small and large different breeds of other animals also. Overall was a nice experience! The staff was very courteous while I was there I also had the pleasure of adopting a guinea pig. The staff also provided toys and food for it at no cost provided by donations of course by the generous community. Which they had no obligations to do so!. So thank you Camden county Humane Society!

Can't help if You don't live in the Camden county! So poor innocent animals that have been disgaurded any where else in Georgia...you have No Hope! Wish humane societys could be humane to all animals not just some it's so ?
