“I moved in in February of 23 and have had nothing but great experiences so far. I am on a 3 bed 2.5 bath and really love the place even though it is smaller than the housing I had in VA. The housing office has always been great and were very helpful while I was on the wait list keeping me well informed. The amenities are nice though I do wish we had a community pool instead of a splash pad, but the pad is great for younger children. I love the dog park and the people living in housing are a great community. Playgrounds everywhere for the little ones and walking access to the elementary school. Base police come out to watch traffic in the morning when the herds of elementary school kids are walking and riding bikes to school. Maintenance has always been very timely and will fix any issues to your satisfaction.”
“I've lived here for a little over 2 years and I find it's okay. I live right at the treeline and I have snake's. They come up to my door, at my front window. Animals dye in the bushes. I was told I'm responsible for the back yard (who's responsible for the side yard), but no one does anything about the leaves, tree straw, or branches that fall. I exterminate every month. I'm being priced out cause I'm retired and on a fixed income. I don't know what I'm going to do next year. I don't want to move but they don't move you into a different place at your rent, but at the new highest rent. So I can't transfer my apartment. I guess I'll be amongst the homeless. It's pitch black at night, the light on the building is dull and the light in the parking lot doesn't work at all. Just fix and clean things and stop raising the rent on the excellent tenants for a couple years. Give them a break.”
