Wildman's Civil War Surplus is a historic landmark in Kennesaw, known for its extensive collection of unique items and rich history. The store has been in operation for over 50 years, serving as a living encyclopedia that educates visitors about important periods in history. Many customers appreciate the museum section and the diverse range of historical artifacts available for trade. Regular visitors fondly remember the late owner, Dent Myers, who was known for his knowledge and friendly demeanor. The store continues to attract customers with its fascinating items and welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in history. Visitors often express their enthusiasm for the unique offerings and hope to return in the future. Wildman's offers a memorable experience, filled with nostalgia and learning opportunities.
It's been a long time and Dent is gone, but I'm sure it is pretty much the same. If you want to see the real stuff and not behind a glass go in here. I'm happy it's still open. Just because you don't want to see it doesn't mean others don't.

Lots of history here. People wanna get rid of it, but those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Go and learn people!

I've been coming here since the '80s, stopped in again today, and the place is still the same: A warm greeting upon entering the store/museum/library of history, and bargains galore.
