Do not recommend getting your dog groomed here! Madison groomed our poodle and she was extremely unprofessional. She placed an upgraded package without mentioning it beforehand and then fought us on taking the charge off. When we got our dog back he had blood in his hair and a cut on the top of his head. When we mentioned it to her she said it must have been the dogs fault. The GM was helpful and said that he would talk to her. I will NEVER be taking my dog to get groomed at a petco again. Terrible and inconsiderate groomers.

07/08/24: Groomer Katie is ALWAYS just the Best. Katie has been grooming our Companion, King German Shepard for 9 years. We say, "Katie" and he jumps up all excited running to his leash. Then we let him run out of energy before putting him in the car. We all Love Katie.

I go to Petco in Dunwoody and I buy fish and plants. This location is extremely nasty . This store with aquarium area is straight nasty. The plants were are turning black. The fish looked disgusting.One employee black heavy set man ran over to assist me and my daughter like we would steal he’s rude and dumb . He could not identify anything I was asking for . So you have employees with no product knowledge of item sold in the store.Trash I would have the GM stop by this location and go to a store further north. See the difference

I have been going to Petco in Kennesaw 1570 crater lake Dr for at least 2yrs. I also pay the monthly membership fee. I booked an appointment for my puppy for 9:45am. I got there at 9:50am and they told me that bc I was late (they have a 15min grace period and I was within it) they couldn’t groom my dog. When I got there at 9:50 the doors were locked. As I pulled up, another lady walked up and she was trying to get in. We sat in front for a few mins then we drove in a circle in the parking lot bc the door said they opened at 10. When we got in Madison who was supposed to be her groomer had a bad attitude and was very nasty with me and short. I had to ask her to get a manager bc I didn’t want to talk to her bc of how rude she was. At this point I didn’t even want her to groom my dog even if they would have taken her. Anyway, they said that they were over booked…. (How is that my fault if the system allowed me to book days ago?) they were going to take the other woman who was there at the same time with me although her appointment was after mine and we got there at the same time. At this point I felt like they were being racist. The manager Karryssa had a better attitude and was very apologetic but not helpful. After they told the other lady they couldn’t groom her dog who’s been there multiple times (said her dog was aggressive bc she was barking) I asked since they were turning her away then can’t they take my dog… again they said that they were overbooked. At this point, didn’t they have an opening since they refused the other dog? This was the most racist, unprofessional and inconvenient experience I have ever dealt with. The groomers that was scheduled for the morning shift on 6/2/24 at the Kennesaw location clearly didn’t want to work that day and should not be apart of the Petco brand. Petco please do better with your staff. They also offered me 50% off to come another day but I’m not comfortable with the groomer and I couldn’t use it at a different Petco so I declined.

I hate to give this location such a bad review overall the location is amazing but the fish and reptile area is consistently disgusting. I truly feel sorry for the animals in this location. I've been in there quite a bit over the last few months and this is how the tanks look 24/7 and they seem to never clean them. Honestly whoever runs this area needs a good talk to because they're clearly not doing their job. I encourage people to buy fish from another location.

Top service. Needed prescription food and wasn’t sure what to buy. Larissa in the Vet Care center guided me to the right food & the Petco staff & management were all extremely helpful. GO HERE !!!!!
