Every time I volunteered, I went home feeling broken and run down. They treat the dogs well, but not the people. Tammy & Mandy are as unprofessional as they get. I'll find a better place to volunteer.

This is a great place to find those "little things" you need in for your home at a great price. Like really cheap, great prices!
Dog collars and leashes for $1-5

You will be missed Bradshaw!
This location does first up. Doesn't matter if you are the 1st applicant for the dog or not. If someone else had an application for a small, medium or large dog 6 months ago they get 1st priority over you.
I have been working for over a month to get this dog that was picked up from the city shelter. I contacted mostly mutts and was asking about him way before they even knew they had him.
I was told he wouldn't be available to adopt for 2 weeks. I waited two weeks and reached back out to them. They told me I have to do a application which I did. I waited another week.
Mostly mutts posted the dog for adoption and then gave him to another couple. We were not disqualified from adopting him. I was heartbroken.
I lost out on Bradshaw because another family, that never knew he existed or knew anything about him that already had a dog, was waiting for a small dog. I'm a disabled veteran who is at home and had been who had to jump through major hoops to find him again.
They did offer to keep me on a list for when they may get another small dog in.
I don't want just a small dog, I wanted the one I had been trying to get for over a month now that they they picked up from the shelter, that I tried to get while there and didn't get because the shelter didn't read their emails. I was lead on by mostly mutts the whole time as I only found out about their policy when they called me about the dog after they posted him.
I was under the impression since I contacted them so early that there would have been no issues getting him since he wasn't even in their system yet and I explained the circumstances.
I'm just heartbroken here.

Mostly Mutts is a wonderful place to go for finding your forever pet. With wonderful service and staff who truly care and give all of their animals the best of care, Mostly Mutts is a great place to check out. They have reasonably priced application fees, and an adoption fee, but much a much better price than any breeder, and a better feeling of adopting not shopping! With that you also give these pets another chance at having a forever home.
We recently got our baby Koko from here and she has been so good at playing and keeping our other dog from being lonely. She is just a wonderful pup. I will always recommend them and get behind all the hard work they do to keep these animals healthy and happy.

Great place to adopt rescue pups. Dogs go through a training school and are well cared for. Staff are friendly and attentive.

I have volunteered here a lot the past 6 years, and this place is AMAZING! Always clean, the animals are well fed and the people take such good care of them. They have about 4-9 volunteers come in 3 times a day to walk the dogs/feed and love on them. I was on the night shift and I'm really happy they have this program. When new dogs come in, they are scared, timid, shaking, sick, hungry, and maybe have been abused. The people here take the time to make them happy dogs to be better suited to find a home with loving families. If you ever get the chance, volunteer here and you will experience how Mostly Mutts really is changing the animals lives for the better. It is a no kill shelter, and I just adore this place and the work they do.
