I was a member of LGE for over 14 years. But for the past several years I had switched to using Georgia's Own as my primary financial institution. When I switched I had left several hundred dollars still in my savings and checking account at LGE for a "rainy day". Imagine my surprise (and my disdain) when I went to close my account only to discover that LGE had stolen my money from my account in the form of charging me an "inactivity fee". This is something I would expect Bank of America to to. Certainly Wells Fargo. Maybe even Truist! But a credit union? I have been using credit unions for over 30 years and this is the first credit union I have encountered that has the balls to charge an inactivity fee to its members. So be warned before you sign up an account here. LGE is more like a bank than a credit union in many ways, and do yourself a favor and check out Georgia's Own where at least they treat you like a member instead of a mark.

Their ATM is so slow! It takes awhile between your choices to respond and you have no choice but to wait, and then it times put and steals your card!! UNEXCEPTABLE

I was withdrawing for an elderly relative for their monthly supplies and the ATM stole their debit card. They use a prepaid card that is fee free here. Never again. She had to call her bank and get a new card which will take 2 weeks. In the meantime she is without her needed items for the month. Very sad on behalf of this atm and bank.

A big waste of time and opportunity going through LGE. They take forever to get back to me regarding my auto loan. Even I got approved took long enough to send me everything so I missed the vehicle I wanted to purchase!Suggest using other unions than going through all of it for nothing

Terrible costumer service. The staff was extremely rude and took forever to get my pre-approval. By the time that they gave me my approval, the vehicle had sold and I was extremely frustrated. Did not want to go through the process with them again and went straight to the dealer and was able to receive an even better rate. Don't waste your time here.

LGE doesn’t cash their own checks if you don’t have an account with them. I’ve never heard of a bank that doesn’t cash their own checks.

What a strange place. This credit union is affiliated with mine, which is located in Massachusetts. However, the differences between the two could not be more vast.LGE has successfully figured out how to not provide any customer service. Their tellers push you off on their ATMs if your transaction requires cash. In fact, I was told they don’t handle cash at all and couldn’t provide me with different denominations of bills after getting the cash out of the ATM. (Let me just re-emphasize that their tellers don’t handle any cash…. what??)There was also an employee sitting behind a large desk in the center of the room who did not acknowledge my existence once.Just a strange way to do business.Two stars for the beautiful, clean building.

have been dealing with LGE for 12-15 years....lately i have been considering taking my business elsewhere.....the branch in kennesaw is horrible, on more than one occasion, i go in to deposit a check that has issues with snap deposit, ill try the machine inside( they got rid of all the tellers) machine rejects it as well, so go to ask fo rassistance and i am just redirected to try teh machines again. i ask nicely to just manually deposit im am tired of wasting my time and i get refused. told the branch manager that every other location is always polite and willing to help, he hands me my check back and says to go there..aparently they dont train for customer service at that location....go to any other location for good service....

Dorsey was a great help. I came in to open an account with the credit union and had a fair amount of questions. She answered them all precisely and with a smile. Very kind and great customer service skills. Also super knowledgeable.

This bank has changed before COVID Pandemic and got rid of tellers. Automated services inside and outside through ATMs. You cans till go inside and get a human being for customer service.BUT the reason I gave it 3 stars is they no longer provide banking on Saturdays.

ATM STOLE MY DEBIT CARD AND LGE IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS ON THE WEEKENDS & AFTER HOURS. THE ONLY SOLUTION THEY GAVE WAS TO WAIT UNTIL BUSINESS HOURS LIKE THEY'RE CONVENIENTLY LOCATED OR HAVE A REPLACEMENT SHIPPED. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS SYSTEM & CUSTOMER SERVICE

Mrs. Parry understands what it means to take care of customers who are trying to become an adult. Very professional and very informative, she truly shows that she cares for her customers finances. Arnelle Parry is another reason why I’ll come back!

Abby is simply fantastic and so helpful with any service I need or question I may have. I'm glad I left a "big bank" years ago to bank with LGE. Definitely service with a smile!
