If you have a doodle then ask for Dr. Lopez, she is great! Can’t say enough about how caring and attentive she was to our dog. 100% would recommend her

I've been taking my dogs to this practice not long after they opened in 2010. Throughout the years we've had a retired racing greyhound, 3 maltipoos and a mini-goldendoodle puppy. All of them were cared for by Dr. Carrie and her practice. We love the vets and they treat our dogs like they belong to them. Their newest doctor is Dr. Rachel Lopez. Dr. Lopez is a favorite of our mini-goldendoodle. It's like Dr. Lopez speaks doodle. She always makes vet visits so fun for our puppy. She's such a fantastic addition to the practice. I highly recommend KMAH to anyone looking for a vet in the area.

It upsets me having to write this review, but I feel like everyone needs to be warned. I have been a loyal patron of this establishment since I moved to Kennesaw in 2017. My most recent visit had me questioning if I should bring my cat back here, and I do not believe I will.I took my cat to an emergency vet on Saturday evening where tests were ran and we came to the conclusion that he had bladder inflammation. I scheduled an appointment for Monday here just to make sure that he was getting better not worse. He had not eaten or drank anything and was nervous he was getting worse.During the visit x-rays were taken to rule out bladder stones, which there were not any. This however, is where the problems started. Without my consent, my cat was given a topical administration of Zorbium - a 4 day dose of Bupronorphine, an opioid. I already had a liquid version that I was administering fine and had control over how much he received. After coming home, he has been a completely different cat. I do not even recognize his behavior. He has been stumbling drunk, has not slept, still refuses to eat and drink, and seems much worse than when I brought him on Monday. This drug is essentially poison. After doing more research, bladder retention is a common side effect and it should not be given to cats that have any type of bladder or urinary issues. I find it almost *negligent* for this to be administered, especially without consent, and especially to a cat who came in with bladder issues. I do not know if some drug quota needs to be met, but it seemed rather impulsive that they administered this to my cat without any consideration that it could do more harm than good.I brought him back in today to get some help on potentially removing some of this toxic drug, and basically didn’t get an answer and he would just have to ride it out. They said they could try and wash some of it off but “couldn’t find where it was administered” which is absolute drivel because it was clear as day as it looks like a flea treatment (aka. completely obvious). The answer to helping him eat and drink was to give him an appetite stimulant. So for the problem a drug caused, we will fix that with more drugs.I am completely heartbroken that my cat has to endure 4 days of being completely overdosed on narcotics, but hopefully he makes it through. To anyone who decides to have this place care for their animals, please be diligent and make sure you’re advocating for what is done to them. I unfortunately did not have that option.

Excellent vet services. Great staff, quick appointments. I have seen 3 vets here and loved each one. The techs are excellent. My favorite thing is that they listen to what you are telling them and then offer solutions to meet your digs health needs

The folks at Kennesaw a Mountain Animal Hospital make the world turn! We were not patients but in a dire situation when I made the call to KMAH and they did not hesitate to get her in. They waisted no time and did everything they could for my dog, made her comfortable and gave us a private space and as much time as we needed. They also took care of all of the details for us. We are grateful for the kindness and compassion they showed for some desperate strangers. Our other dog is now a registered new patient. If more businesses were operated by people like the staff at KMAH the world would be a better place. Thank you from the bottom of my broken heart.

BEST VET EVER! I will NEVER go to ANOTHER Vet!!! I have 5 dogs & they treat them with the same love & care I would. They're patient & really know what they're doing. Compared to other Vets in the area, the prices are cheaper yet the service is 100% better! Thank You KMAH!

They are always professional and handle our pets with great care when they have appointments. The facility is very clean and comfortable and does not smell of urine like a lot of veterinary offices do.
