Went into store to check out some van shoes. Like the price and wanted to see if they had the size I needed. Turned around and seen the employee on his phone and so I stood there waiting for him to get done. 5 minutes went by and he never once looked up or asked if I needed help. So I put the shoe up and walked out. Still was not recognized as I walked out. Went somewhere else and bought the shoe. Paid a little more but at least I got the help I needed

I bought a pair of black high top Chuck Taylors for my 8 year old granddaughter on ($64.99+tax) 02/23/23. She wore them to school twice before the metal eyelet of the shoelace cane loose. We took them back to Journeys Kidz in Town Center mall on 03/10/23 to exchange. We were greeted with a friendly manner until we explained our situation and then things took a bad turn. The sales asc. looked into the Journey's bag, did not even check the enclosed receipt at all to see the purchase date and immediately advised" I can't take these back, I cannot sell them". Huh? Why would you want to sell a visibly defective product to another customer? He then advised all returns must be in "new condition". I requested that he look at the date of the receipt and asked him how would we know that the eyelets would come loose on the sneaker if my granddaughter never wore then ,but just kept then sitting in the box? No answer! He handed me back the sneakers and advised me again that they had been worn. I attempted several times to remind him that their (journey's) written return policy on their website advised that they will take back DEFECTIVE merchandise within 30 days. Nope, didn't not budge.As we were leaving another Asc/mamager maybe, behind the cash register ringing up another customer, yelled out across the store at my back in a snide voice" have a nice day".I turned around and responded from the doorway where I was "that her interjection was not necessary". In my 20 some years of customer service career I have never purposely tried to antagonize a paying customer, even when the answer to their request was a no, because of my company's policy. I am writing this review and have contacted the Corporate customer service team and my credit card issuer to resolve this. Just a FYI to other shoppers. I do not have money to waste on a defective shoe that my granddaughter cannot wear. Buyer beware!

I special ordered a pair of shoes from this location and they delivered it to the wrong address. They obviously don't care about customer service at this location because they where very quick to pass me off. I won't be doing business here or with this company ever again.

Journeys, in Town Center Mall (Kennesaw, GA) has an employee named Katie... If you want the best customer service with an awesome, uplifting, positive attitude, you MUST ask for Katie! She was so nice, I bought more shoes than I actually came for, just because her service was so awesome! I sure hope she gets commission, because I'll be back to buy more... Just because of her! I hope Journeys management reads this and rewards her for her A1 service! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, KATIE!!!

Wonderful customer service! I called before I showed up to the store and they picked up the phone quickly and were able to answer my questions with ease! Lily even sold me on some glow in the dark socks! Good place for unique shoes

This place is a total joke. Nobody greets you when you walk in. They all look at you as if you're bothering them. Even the bigger female manager is rude!! You'd think they would want business due to Covid. Don't waste your time going here!

I went in here and the staff looked like a bunch of shell shocked love dolls. I try on a pair of kicks and rip the side. The lady comes over and tells me I have to buy them... I didn’t know they gave me kids shoes. I’m 27 with a full beard but I guess I look like a prepuberty child. Thanks for being consistently terrible?

My daughter and I came in looking to buy some uggs! We stood at the tower right in front of 4 or 5 workers standing behind the counter for at least 5 minutes and nobody ever once approached us or asked if we needed help! Your loss Journeys!!
