Unfortunately I had the same bad experience as every other trip to this store. The only reason I go is because there are no other brick and mortar stores anywhere close. The employees in the RC department are just awful. Very poor customer service skills, condescending, and plain rude. I've had several hundred dollars to burn and walked out with nothing after interacting with them on more than one occasion. They seem annoyed by any questions. I thought it was just me until friends and family were treated the same way. I used to pass this location and travel to the one about 45 minutes further, but it closed a few years ago.

HobbyTown of Kennesaw Ga. is the closest hobby shop to my house which is about a 20 minute drive for me. This HobbyTown is a full service hobby store they have games and gaming supplies, trains and accessories of all scales. Plastic model cars, trucks, planes, ships and military models, paints and plastics and accessories for your modeling needs!!
Hobbytown also has a large RC department with Crawlers and Bashers from name like Traxxas, Axial ,Redcat, Arrma, Losi, Associated and 18 & 24 scale crawlers too! And accessories from Treal, SSD, Vanquish, Reefs, Hobbywing, Castle Creations and Proline bodies, Tires, wheels!
Airplanes, Helicopters, Drones, Boats! Accessories and radio gear from Spectrum, Futaba, Flysky!
Their staff is friendly helpful and knowledgeable plus they have a solution to fix or repair your broken RC's to get you back out and having fun in no time!

It's a big store with a lot of great things going on. If you come for one thing, watch out, because you might leave a fan for at least 2 other things!
Brandon in RCs was a real mensch. He helped me out, big time with a new body for my Infraction 6S, and was a wealth of knowledge.
My only gripe, and this is just my warning to stay away from this one person: There's a middle-aged Black guy that works there in RC that's a little blunt and not so helpful. He was that way one time before, but on another occasion, he tried to start a religious argument with me over a casual conversation with other people. It was uncomfortable and we all just sort of let him yell it out, and changed the subject to let him have his victory. On other occasions, he's spoken for what other people know and don't know, rather than checking.
I don't want to tarnish the place with how much of this review I devoted to him. I just don't want you to go there, interact with this one individual, and then judge the whole establishment by him.
The funniest thing about that weird religious confrontation was that he was there ON HIS DAY OFF to do that. LOL
I live all the way in Stone Mountain, and drive there when I REALLY need help, so you know it's a great place.
