Beware! I had a horrible experience with the Kennesaw branch. Made a booking in advance and to my surprise they had no cars the time of my reservation and were not even able to give another car. We got the cold shoulder from staff and felt ignored. Branch manager didn’t feel the need to even apologize for the inconvenience and stayed in his office. Will never rent from Hertz again as the company and the Kennesaw location in particular was very unprofessional and non courteous. Stay away!

Dont ever go to this place. The guy working there is rude and outright non sense. He does not care about customer. I reserved the car 2 days ago and Upton arrival they did not have the car. He did not care and no sorry. This place should be out of business.

The only reason they are getting a one star review is because I couldn't write a review without one.I went into this location a month before I needed an suv for my family vacation and talk to a gentleman to find out what all I needed for the rental he told me everything plus to bring the card I used to put the deposit down on the rental. I asked him if my debit card would work because I don't have a credit card and he said yes as long as the funds were on the card to cover. I show up the Monday of my trip to get my rental the lady said she needed a credit card. I told her I don't own a credit card and explained to her what the gentleman said and she said no that is wrong. She refused to give me a rental. So I left and had to call the 800 number to get my money back that I already spent on the rental while waiting on hold their recording says we can use debit or credit card on rentals. I asked the representative once I got on and he said he couldn't answer that question.

I rented an SUV and on our way home from Florida the oil light came on, so I found an AutoZone and had to put 3 quarts of oil in car. When I contacted Hertz they told me I was supposed to contact Emergency Roadside Assistance. I guess I was supposed to sit on shoulder of highway with my family and dog and hope they show up? No reimbursement for $38 for oil. I will not use Hertz again. Unbelievable. Hey Hertz, do not give me a car leaking oil, I have oil leak on my driveway and on my father in laws driveway.

Legit the worst costumer service.My boyfriend needed a rental for his car. Made a reservation online. 5 min later the location left a message.I called the location back with in 5 min. Called the number they called me from and called the number for the location online. Couldn’t get a live person for 10 min. FINALLY get a live person. He says the location doesn’t have mid size vehicles but has a full size and updated the reservation.My boyfriend leaves work and i meet him at the location.Hmm they have no cars.The lady asked me if i spoke with someone with an accent and i confirmed. She said they don’t know what we have on sight.? Why are they the only people you can talk too! With NO RESOLUTION, they may have a car later. My boyfriend had to louse personal time for a reservation that was CONFIRMED TWICE with in 30 mins.Use the enterprise.

Be warned--reserving a vehicle means nothing here. This is the ONLY time I've ever been asked to pay for the car rental company's lack of promised inventory. I reserved a car for my husband, who needed to travel to a funeral out of state. When we arrived, we were told there was no vehicle available unless we paid nearly 2X as much to rent a huge truck or SUV. My husband was desperate to get on the road so he paid to "upgrade." Now we're stuck paying for an upgrade for a vehicle we didn't want, for additional gas to drive an enormous truck he didn't need, and its gas tank was filled to "95%" according to the employee. When he is refilling before return, how on earth is he supposed to know when this truck is filled to 95%?!

I wish there would be an option to post Zero stars.Every time I booked a car, they never have the category I rented and always force me to book a higher category for double the price.Never ever go there

Hands down the worst Hertz I’ve been to anywhere in the world. Their customer service was disgusting. Upon pickup I watched one of their employees walk around and film another customer as she tried to check out her vehicle. I was told there was a $250 detailing fee if the vehicle did not come back clean. There was a large white stain in the vehicle already. Returned the car with grass and pebbles from shoes in the car. Was told I would be charged $250 for them to “detail” it. There was no one in that office that wasn’t too lazy to even go vacuum it. The manager left their personal belongings in the car and had me come in two days after renting it to return their items. I filed with corporate for my money back and the location charged me without putting any notes in the rental. They are just charging customers extra money to go and clean the cars for them. I’m surprised the manager here hasn’t cleaned house. Then again I’m sure the manager is the problem.

The worst customer service ever. They never have the car that i book and always want to charge me more for what they say is an upgrade. they are very rude and they management is horrible!! Quay, agent there should not be working, very low IQ and conversation skills. I will never rent to this location again and advise no one else to.

I am glad to say that this location is 10x better than the location around the corner from my house. I have needed a rental three times in the past month and this location has been great! Quick and easy check-in and check out process. The staff is helpful and made sure I was signed in to get my rewards/upgrades. ***FYI....if you secure your rental with 24 hours of pick-up please do yourself a favor and call ahead. A simple 2 min phone call to check and see if they have a car before you just show up will keep you sane. I did a rush rental about 3 months ago and everyone else did the same thing that weekend and the cars were not available. However, my experiences over the past 2 months have been outstanding! I drive an extra 13 min, past one closer to my house to visit this location. It has better cars and the process to check-in an out is much smoother.

Really great staff! Very helpful and informative. Except for this one lady who seemed a bit grumpy. I had an appointment at 3:00 to pick up my car I got there at 4:15. I thought this would be like a hotel, if you show up at two the car is not ready but anytime after 3:00 you're good to go. She said I was 15 minutes past my 1 hour and she might not be able to honor my manager special price. She did eventually honor it but again was just a bit grumpy. But the rest of the staff is amazing.

Horrible customer service. Tried to call the location multiple times (10 minutes before closing) for a question about a return. Someone at the local branch answered the phone and immediately hung up. Tried to call back over the next 10 minutes before they closed and they would not answer the phone again.
