ZERO stars if I could. David's Bridal I hope thousands of people see this! I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated by both David's Bridal in Kennesaw, GA & Oklahoma City. Here's my experience. First I want to preface this by saying my family and I have been loyal customers of David's Bridal as long as I can remember. We have always given David's Bridal our business for all of our events we have attended over the years. I went to shop for a wedding gown at their Kennesaw, GA location last August and had a very poor experience. The stylists were rushing me out of the fitting room, treating me as if I was not going to buy anything, and acting like I was a waste of their time. On my way out of the store after being rushed, I saw a dress on a mannequin that I wanted to try on. I had to basically beg them to let me try it on. I ended up LOVING the dress, but unfortunately I did not get to stand on the pedestal, no one helped me clamp it, no one "jacked me up" with a veil until I hunted them down and only then they reluctantly put a veil on me. I didn't get my moment. I didn't get to ring the bell, I didn't get to stand on the pedestal and have my "this is the dress" moment, but I really wanted the dress. I bought the dress despite it being the wrong size. It was way too big and I asked if they had another in my size but they told me it was discontinued and there would never be another one. I took it anyway and decided I would have it altered since I loved it so much and they told me there wasn't another one anywhere in the world. I could tell they were surprised that I was buying something. The stylist gave me a discount, which I believe was his way of apologizing for not treating me like a bride. Fast forward to now. I moved to Oklahoma City recently and was in a David's Bridal store shopping for yet ANOTHER bridesmaids dress and I saw my dress, (yes, the one they assured me was discontinued) hanging up close to the doors. So I asked if it was available in my size. They told me it was, but they will not do an exchange for me. Despite multiple attempts to reason with them, they are refusing to exchange the dress for the correct size. They are saying it's because it has surpassed their 60-day return policy. However, I believe an exception should be made since I paid $2000 for a dress that doesn't fit me because they told me it was the only one. Not only do they refuse to make this right, price match the discount & process the exchange, they won't even allow me to pay the difference. They would not lose a single DIME by doing this swap for me. The dress I have has not been opened or even touched since I got it. They have not offered to discount alterations or ANYTHING. NOTHING has been done to make this situation right. I am so hurt and disgusted that this is how they are choosing to treat a bride & loyal customer. It is very disappointing. One of the many excuses I heard was that during the time I originally bought my dress, they were going bankrupt. I think my experience speaks as to why they were going to go out of business. If this is how they treat their brides and loyal customers, I hope they do!!!!

I had my wedding dress and crenlin ordered over a month ago and a half ago and at my fitting there was no one in there to help me get into my dress and I know that when they had received my crenlin it had been sold because they have several prom dresses on their floor and there was no way it wouldn't have been there by then. On march 1st this is less than a month before my wedding and they said it still hadn't arrived but somehow it would be at my house within the week. It's been two weeks since that incident and less than two weeks till my wedding and I haven't received a tracking number or call to even update me. Overall experience was horrible considering we made appointments and my mother had wound up taking off work that day because they didn't even get me in at my appointment time. I had to wait for two people ahead of me.

spent $200 on a bridesmaids dress got a message it arrived so I picked it up brought it home and tried it on, I loved it till I noticed a few decorative button were loose! literally hanging by a thread.

I bought a bridesmaid dress about a year ago and due to getting sick, I wasn't able to attend the wedding or wear the dress. I returned the dress and was only able to get store credit. That is fine. I knew soon enough I would be getting engaged so I am sure I could use it. Fast forward to this past weekend, I have been to this store numerous times within the past few months trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to use my store credit for and just about every time, I was given less than satisfactory customer service. Yet, I needed to spend this money so I went back this weekend to get my step daughters bridesmaid dress to only find out that Davids Bridal went bankrupt last year and all assets were taken. I lost all my money and now my store credit is invalid. No letter in the mail to inform me. Not eligible to file a claim. No accommodations. just a straight up- sorry. we can't do anything to help you. They have new owners but I will be honest, closing down is probably the better route to take because nothing, from what I can see, has improved. Ladies! be aware!

honestly from one bride to another - skip this establishment and go somewhere else … lady was extremely unhelpful in finding my vision , went to impression bridal and found the dress !! don’t settle & don’t get discouraged
