Today I made a return at this location for an in store pickup order. Unfortunately after today’s events it’ll be my last day shopping at World Market. The table that I was returning was missing screws, I was met with a very disgruntled worker, Nancy, a heavyset caucasian women, who refused the return.
I asked if I could leave my item inside the store while I figure things out, she refused. After trying to get a dolly to take the items out of my car, she ran in front of me, blocking the dolly being extremely defensive. At this point, I felt unsafe and asked to speak with the manager on duty. I was met with a manager (I did not get her name, Hispanic women) who was understanding, yet educated me on the protocol of the store. She said that she would be able to order the missing parts. An option I was not given to by the associate, Nancy.
The prior escalation by the associate was completely unnecessary and showed her true character, or lack thereof, and reflects poor commitment to customer service/satisfaction for the company.
Luckily, I was able to get the situation rectified by the manager. As well as being compensated by customer service after filling a complaint on this associate with corporate. I typically shop at the location in Buckhead, but was in the area. I would avoid this store if you can

This location had my order ready on yesterday and just because I did not get there (I had 10 days to pick up my order) they decided to give my item to someone else.Today I received an email saying the item is out of stock now. First and last time buying from world market.

I’ve always loved cost plus world market and so glad they are still going! Lots of neat stuff for house decor and the selection of around the world foods and snacks is very cool!

I love World Market in general, but this review is specifically for the manager who was working Friday evening.
I missed adding the 20% pick-up code to my expensive online order at checkout, so when I arrived for pickup, I asked about how we could fix that. The manager said they can’t do anything in store, and customer service would tell me the same if I called. Said it was my responsibility to make sure it’s added before checking out (WM dev, please fix this on your website!). I was pretty frustrated with the policy, but this manager was AMAZING and found a solution. She was patient with me and acknowledged my frustration, but remained kind and helpful. I really appreciated her going above and beyond to help me. What could have been a terrible customer experience ended up being a very pleasant one.

Don't go in this place if you're on a diet! I go for the British snacks, but they have a lot of other international food and wine.

After having multiple bad experiences with rude staff at other locations, it was refreshing to encounter such a kind and helpful staff at the Kennesaw store. I believe it was Nancy I spoke with on the phone initially who was so helpful. Then after arriving at the store Ramsey went above and beyond to give us an exceptional guest experience in store. Then was able to help us to locate additional items at another location. Sofia was also so kind and helpful in assisting us with loading the chairs. Good customer service is hard enough to find these days, but the exceptional service that we received today made me enjoy shopping World Market

The customer service is not that great nor is the information accurate what the mangers provide in regards to store orders they seem all over the place and not in sync with their staff. I would find another world market or shop somewhere else.

Expensive, it does carry different products I have not seen anywhere else, like apricot beer fron the Netherlands, still, am not planning on going back.
