We were in and out in an hour! The facility was clean and had kids tv shows on in every room to help distract our sick daughter. The staff was pleasant, quick, and thorough and gave us a great experience. Thank you!

There was a longer wait than I would have liked but 10/10 for the staff. We had amazing nurses and Dr Grinzaid was phenomenal! He was very thorough, listened well and showed genuine concern for my son. He even called the next day to check in on him.

While no urgent care visit is ever for a pleasant reason, I was especially worried what a disaster it may be on Sunday PM of a holiday weekend. Our visit tonight was so seamless, efficient, and helpful. The staff was so kind and thorough. From check-in to intake to screening to seeing the doctor - everyone was so patient and caring as our almost 18-month-old was inconsolable and melting down. They did their best to cheer him up with a freeze pop, a cuddly stuffed animal, and regularly checked in while we waiting for test results. Special shout out to Mariah, her gentle nature and sweet disposition made a nose and throat swap as painless as possible. Hopefully we don’t have to be back but if we do, will definitely return.

Unfortunately we have had to take our daughter a few times over the last two months. She likes to get sick or hurt after regular hours.Every time we have gone to CHOA, it has been FANTASTIC! There has been little to no wait. The staff was very attentive to my daughter and made sure she felt comfortable. We have left every time happy with all our questions answered.

Giving it four stars because it’s CHOA. The staff is awesome and it’s nice that the records are in the system. And they gave us a popsicle for a sore throat. But the wait times make this location our last resort. Most recently waited two and a half hours to see the Dr for 3 minutes. We will continue to use this location when no other options are available.

After a disappointing experience on New Years Day with no clear closing time, we returned the following day and are pleased with the care and compassion overall.

I understand that some patients may be seen before you, but after walking in and waiting in and watching atleast 9 people who came after you see the doctor is extremely aggravating. Especially after the triage tells you once a room is available you will go back but that’s far from the truth. Staff isn’t even friendly either

Tell me this is illogical. Due to Covid, they stopped taking online check-ins, and will not allow you to show up, sign your kid in, then have them come closer to the estimated wait time. Wouldn't it be better to have that system to pull back the amount of sick kids just sitting around the waiting room for hours??? No way, we need all the sick kids coughing and snotting all over the place. Much more sound reasoning here. Good grief! What is wrong with people? Online, scheduled check-ins keep the fewest amount of sick children in a small area as possible.

wanted to love this place, being that I'm from Atlanta, where it's overpopulated and all hospitals/urgent care waits are long. But this place is NOTHING urgent. The staff in the lobby are rude and loud when speaking to patients/visitors. Due to HIPAA this should not be allowed. However the wait for payment is not long at all. Being that I'm self pay they took my money really fast.-but the wait to get to a room is Ridiculous! Finally we are in the back the triage nurse was really pleasant. Doctor comes in she's really pleasant. AGAIN the wait... We are now waiting for test results to one back. Did c says "Test should be ready in 30 minutes" I bet you can guess it's been 40 minutes and still no test. We legit could have been in and out of Wellstar urgent care by now. We arrived at this facility at 11:30am there were 5 kids in front of us 3 were well and 2 were sick visits. It is now 2pm. I may as well took my baby to the emergency room. This experience was absolutely horrible. We will never return to CHOA Urgent Care Town center.

It's one of those places that wil keep you out in the main waiting room for 3 hours and tell you to go back to a room with a doctor and you're sitting there waiting for the doctor for another hour to 2 hours. It gets to the point, as a single, tired, mother, that every time I've ever been here, I've just wanted to cry. You almost feel disrespected after a while when your poor kid is hungry, youve gone through numerous diapers and just needs to see a doctor!!! Beyond irritated!!!! Will forever be going to kennestone. Just don't come here.

My 2.5 year old busted his forehead open. Upon our arrival the staff made a point to check his wound to see how urgent it was. They reacted quickly and efficiently. I was a wreck but I quickly realized I could trust the staff and I was able to relax a bit. Everyone was so great with my son (and with us) and I’m forever grateful. Thanks CHOA Urgent Care!

This facility requires that your entire family is masked. Still. As of 6/8/2023. You are still REQUIRED to wear a mask. We went in for a possible broken arm/wrist, not even an illness. Would not let us in unless we masked myself, my 5yo, 3yo, and 1yo and I happily walked out. Will go somewhere else when we need urgent care.

Our kiddos are “frequent flyers” here. Timeframes vary (from 30 mins to 3 hours) but friendliness and experience are always good!

Only allowed one parent in the entire facility at all times. Leaving one parent to navigate through the experience of the urgent care and having to care for the child. Only allowed one parent to be there to support themselves and the child which is unfair.

Don’t waste your time. The front desk receptionist (working 11/1/22 at 8 pm) was not friendly at all. Didn’t look up from her computer screen or make eye contact once. Never asked what the issue was with my daughter. All she told me was the wait time. Clearly she did not want to be there and did not care about the children needing care. Does she think us caregivers want to be there too? This is not an enjoyable trip for anyone but show some compassion and urgency in wanting to help. You can only have 1 caregiver come (which I understand but there should be exceptions allowed). I am 7 months pregnant and had to be there by myself with a toddler. Overall ridiculous and left a bad taste in my mouth. We did not receive care.
