WOW.....what can I say? We have lived all over the world (27 years in the U.S. Army), and shopped in many, many furniture stores and "dealt" with literally hundreds of salespeople, and David Timmer is probably the best we have ever worked with! David was VERY patient, configured dozens of different packages for us, gave us the benefit of his 40+ years in the furniture business, and helped us get a really good deal on what we bought. We also met the GM Loren Mallorie who was also a pleasure to meet. The store is HUGE - (Jacksonville store on Atlantic Blvd), and the entire experience was a very good one. Kudo's to David Timmer, and our sincere thanks! Kevin and Kathy Richards.

Let me start by saying that I really was interested in seeing what they had, but after being followed around the store by their salesperson, I quickly just made a beeline for the door! I refuse to shop somewhere that does not let the customer just look...without THEIR help! I am an independent woman who does not need help shopping! If I say that I am just looking, do not follow me around the store unless you want to lose my business real quick! I will NOT be back!

I have had nothing but an abysmal experience since purchasing a couch and bedroom set from American Signature. I was hoping that the saga had ended, but alas I am continuing to have issues with the furniture. Let's start with the fact that it took over a year to receive our couch. That the bed frame delivered was broken and it took seven (7 that is right 7) different deliveries before American Signature delivered a piece that wasn't broken. Is that designer furniture if it breaks that easily? Is that how American Signature treats its products in transit? Weird, how I never had this issue with other furniture companies. Appears that this is also a common complaint with other customers. The couch drawer was malfunctioning upon delivery and it took over a month to have a tech come out and fix it. During this time, the phone system is (and still is) malfunctioning. I would call the correct store only for another store to pick up the phone, who then couldn't help me because they didn't have access to our account. They would transfer me to the correct store only for another store to pick up the phone. Again, never had this issue with other corporations. AND NOW, the couch, owning it less than a year, is already becoming discolored. This is leather and shouldn't be happening less than a year into ownership. I contacted American Signature who told me to contact the Warranty company. The Warranty company refuses to cover it because it doesn't cover items due to the inferiority of the product. I then contacted American Signature only for it to place blame back on the Warranty company. Sadly, the poor customer service is not surprising anymore. American Signature is great at placing blame elsewhere (i.e., the factory in China is backed up; the Warranty company is at fault for denying your coverage; etc.). Every time I write a negative review of American Signature (and let me tell you I write a lot and will continue to write) the customer service responds with the non-helpful and generic response about "We are sorry. Please reach out for help with your issue." But when I reach out, customer service refuses to help. I would like for American Signature to explain why it has customer service if it doesn't provide any service let alone is helpful? American Signature should take accountability and respect its customers. Its customers spend a lot of money on the furniture and yet once American Signature gets the money, the company doesn't give one hoot about the customer after that. I can see why its Better Business Bureau rating is a 1.85 out of 5; this is an 100% accurate rating of the company. The C-Suite Executives should be ashamed at how poorly this company is being run and operated. I will continue to persuade prospective customers NOT to purchase from American Signature and will promote competitors who provide better quality products and superior customer service (though the bar is not set very high here). I realize I won't put American Signature out of business; heck, I won't even put a dent in the revenue, but if I got one person to not purchase from this poorly operated company then I feel good (and that is all that really matters).

I purchased a couch from American Signature furniture. It was a custom order so I was prepared to wait a while for the delivery. I got a notification that my couch was in and I was ready to schedule a delivery date and time. I scheduled this and went through all the confirmations. The morning of the anticipated delivery date, I was told my delivery had been cancelled as one piece of the couch was missing. This same thing happened a second time. This time I hired someone for $200 to be at the house to receive the delivery. It was again cancelled the morning of, but I still needed to pay the individual. I called the store and spoke with one of the managers, Brenda, who apologized and assured me I would receive a $200 refund for my expense. She said she could not give me the refund until the couch was actually delivered and I was to call back to receive it. The same delivery notification, confirmation, and cancellation occurred once more but this time I ignored it. The fourth time I received a delivery notification, I called the store (it took me many tries as it is rare for someone from the store to pick up the phone), and finally received confirmation all pieces of my couch were actually in the warehouse. The couch was delivered without incident. However, it has been nothing short of a nightmare to get my $200 credit back, as Brenda had promised me. I am not exaggerating when I say I have called 40-50 times. Either no one picks up, or someone picks up but says Brenda is in a meeting and can't come to the phone. Many times, the call has gone on to Value City Furniture, and a representative there attempts to call the store with no response. They then leave an email for the managers, which is never returned. One Value City Furniture call representative told me this particular store was "terrible" with answering the phone or communicating with clients. She suggested I physically go to the store to get my issue resolved.. I would do this, but this store location is actually quite inconvenient to my home. Also, this seems like something that should be able to be resolved over the phone. I do not wish this process on anyone else.

Our salesman George was fantastic. Wonderful experience- we will continue to be repeating customers because of him. He has been with us every step of the way. We look forward to working with him and having American Signature pieces in our new home. Please seek him out at the Kennesaw location if you are interested in new furniture, you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience with American Signature Furniture. Easy process, no pressure sales tactics, great products at a reasonable price. Our salesperson, Allison, was a pleasure to work with; she was very friendly and approachable and went out of her way to make sure we found the product that best met our needs. Highly recommend!

We walked in the store with excitement as we were going to pick a nice sofa for our family movie night the next weekend. We found a beautiful sofa with recliner chairs and cup holders. We waited patiently for the sofa during the week as we were promised that the sofa would be ready for pick-up at the store the next Saturday. During the week we were asked by the store if we could pick up the furniture that Thursday. We work for a living and work 40 hour work weeks like most people. We told them we could pick up the couch on Saturday. After numerous phone calls we discovered the couch we ordered was being held at the store and was sold to another customer. Keep in mind, they already took our identification and ran our credit. We already payed for the couch we did not have yet. After they sold the couch they told us that our purchased was flagged as fraud by the credit company. We called the credit company and they told us there was absolutely no sign of fraud on our accounts. The truth of the matter as we found out was that they put a hold on our order so we still payed for it, but we could not pick it up and they could sell the couch to someone else. They effectively stole our couch and sold to someone else. Then they cancel our order. This is not what I would call a less-than-perfect experience, this is what I would call a scam and saying otherwise is false. It was a crime what they did to us. If you are the owner and are reading this I do not want to be told sorry for a less-than-perfect experience. The customer service was terrible and needs to be revamped. Our personal credit score was hurt, and we did not get a couch. Avoid this store and do not look for furniture here. They seem nice on the surface but at the end of the day they just want to make two commissions on one product. Again I say DO NOT SHOP HERE, you’re better off getting furniture from a dumpster, at least it won’t steal your money.

We've purchased from them before and the quality is slightly above IKEA but the prices are much higher. We went back to avoid the drive to and headache of IKEA. We were purchasing furniture for a teenage room so something we wouldn't mind getting rid of in 5 or so years. The shopping experience was fine. One the day of delivery they were "no call, no show" so my husband ventured over that afternoon and they had us rescheduled for 2 separate deliveries several more weeks out. They did refund us the delivery fee and apologized. This has been rescheduled 5-6 times. Yesterday we were given a window of 4-7pm. Today, we received a text at 12:25 pm to let us know the furniture would arrive in 6 hours. They showed up 40 minutes later. I was not home but my husband works from home as a high level CEO. He had to cancel several calls to man handle the furniture and the pets running in and out of the front door. The delivery crew couldn't set up the new furniture (only a mattress and night stand) due to my husband working. Our teenager has been livid. She has been sleeping on the floor for a month and we still don't know when her dresser or bed will arrive. This is such a headache and we won't be shopping there again.

George at the Kennesaw store is the REAL DEAL! He’s honest, straight forward, and understanding. George gave me a warm welcome to the store then showed me how to use the tools available to me to learn about the chairs and sofas I was interested in seeing. This allowed me to move at my own pace and not feel smothered or pressured. I was able to circle back to ask him my questions and George gave me truthful and accurate information on pricing, availability and delivery time. I had some other furniture stores to visit but George impressed me so much with his knowledge and service that I returned the same night make my purchase. If you value no nonsense customer service, be sure to ask for George for all your furniture needs. You won’t regret it!!!

I cannot fully describe the personal service we got from George! He is very knowledgeable, pointing out things that we didn’t think of! He does not pressure you, leads you to the type of furniture we were looking for, explained fully each piece that we questioned about and then backed away, letting us shop. But he was nearby enough that we could just call him over whenever we had questions. He even advised us to sit or lay on the furniture like we would do at home for as long as we wanted to. And we did! Just to make sure that we would love the furniture before we bought itGeorge is the salesman to ask for! You won’t be disappointed!

I could have had a better experience with American Signature Furniture. I purchased a sofa and loveseat from American Signature Furniture that I received on June 13, 2023. The right side of my loveseat was missing; I placed a call to the store to find out why the right side of my loveseat was missing. The Customer Care Center stated the furniture was on backorder. American Signature Furniture arranged for the piece to arrive on June 18, 2023. When they called me to confirm the delivery, they said I would receive my loveseat's left side. I had to inform them that I already had the left side and needed the right side. I had to work with the store to ensure I received the correct piece of furniture. I was supposed to receive confirmation from American Signature that the proper loveseat right side would go out, but no call was received. On June 18, 2023, I did, however, receive the correct part. Once the delivery guy put the loveseat together. The loveseat didn't line up correctly; the left side of the loveseat was leaning back. Once again, I had to call the store. I told them that I no longer wanted this furniture. They suggested they would send a technician to look at a brand-new loveseat. I allowed them to have someone come out to try and fix the loveseat. Now, it's going on a month since I have been dealing with this issue. The technician came out on July 8, 2023, and tried to fix the loveseat. He is unable to correct the problem. I told the technician to let them know that they could come to pick up this furniture. I received a call from the customer care center offering me three options. I said no to all alternatives because they should have provided me with a brand-new loveseat when it was not lining up correctly. The furniture was returned/picked up on July 21, 2023. I called on July 21, 2023, to find out when I would receive my refund. They said that the truck was still out, and once it returned, my refund would be processed, which takes 3-5 days as of today, August 1, 2023. I am still waiting to receive my refund. I had to call the store again to follow up on my refund. The refund has yet to be processed. Hopefully, it will be processed today, and I still have to wait 3-5 business days for my refund.
