I worked with this tax prep for about 4 yrs now. When I inquired this year I paid my deposit before the assistant Shree called asking if I were sure on moving forward with filing bc they don’t do quotes. I consented and said verbatim “Yes i I plan on filing”. The following week I got a refund from my deposit unknowingly. I called multiple times only to be told my phone call will be returned. By the end of the week I finally spoke with Shree who was moderately rude. They acted like they didn’t know why I was calling. I could sense her being irascible from “How can I help you?” I said that I noticed my money was returned and wanted the status of my return? I also spoke with Tameika via chat and asked was there a separate fee from the amount I’ve already paid she advised me that was a deposit and the filing fee started at $309. I wasn’t aware and because of that they decided to refund my money and refuse me as a client because they don’t do quotes. As I tried to express to Shree that I’ve already paid the deposit and consented to moving forward a week ago she continuously deliberately chimed in interrupting me as I spoke. Creating a hostile conversation, in which was intended from answering the phone. She said she owed me no customer service, I was an inconvenience and being loud with me saying I have a history of quotes and I have been refused as a client. So i hung up in her face! I did not expect this treatment from them after referrals and working with them since 2018. Luckily I got my taxes done in less than 2 weeks from ATC

Tomeka is The Best!! She explains very clearly what is going on with your paperwork. She’s about her business and nice at the same time. Not only does she do your taxes but if you have questions you get a small lesson on taxes and how the system works. I’ve been going to her faithfully for forever and have referred so many people to her over the years. We always leave satisfied and with all of our questions answered.
