I decided to stop by the Exxon in Jonesboro, GA. You must know it is across the street from a RacTrac between 138 and Battle Creek.The time was 7:30 am. The gas is $3.54 posted. I asked the cashier if using a card would increase the amount of gas. She advised that I should read the sign. Why would she ASSUME that I could read. She was downright irate because I asked instead of reading it. Needless to say I advised her that I no longer wanted the gas and to cancel the transaction. She was rude, not all all helpful and forced me to purchase gas at the Texaco less than a mile on the same side of the street. The cashier at the Texaco was pleasant. She greeted me, asked if I wanted a receipt and suggested that I enjoy my day. I was so glad I choose to leave that negative environment to spend money with someone who enjoys their job.
