I brought my girlfriend’s dog in yesterday morning and really just had a phenomenal experience with each of the staff members I interacted with. From Karen, the receptionist, to Dr. Adams, and the other staff members who I interacted with and didn’t get the names of, everybody was so accommodating and helpful towards me.
Dr. Adams explained everything she told me regarding Honey, the dog, multiple times so that I could relay the information back to my girlfriend while she was at work. Dr. Adams also offered to write up a detailed email breaking down the whole visit to send to her. Karen was very helpful to me as well, offering cleaning supplies to bring out to my car after Homey had an unfortunate accident on the way over. The vet tech was also very kind, although I never got her name.
The staff was also very understanding of our budget, and did everything in their power to limit the amount of money we spent on this visit, which is much appreciated! Thank you to everybody at Ivy Hill Animal Hospital for your amazing work and customer service yesterday!

Amazing practice. They are very thorough when it comes to answering any questions we have, the staff is very friendly, and you can tell that the vets truly care about their patients. We have the upmost gratitude to ivy hill animal hospital. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby Bella.

I have one concern: Ivy Hill Animal Hospital does not seem to want to take dogs with special needs, larger breeds, or ones that are lab/boxer/pit mix.
On my first visit there years ago, I was working for a company that delivers to their place. Back then, they were hesitant to accept my dog, but (I believe) that because I saw them most days for business, they allowed it.
I haven’t been back to the office in a few years and have since loss rapport with them. I was told today (April 2024) that since my dog requires sedatives prior to his annual shots (just like he did on my last visit there), and because they “haven’t seen him,” they will not allow him to ever be seen at the office. I asked, “Is this true even if he was a patient a few years ago (because he was seen there before)” The reply was, “yes.” After, the receptionist quickly got me off the phone by referring me to “Urgent Vet.” When asking for their phone number, I was told, “You can find that on your own at their website.”
In summary, Ivy Hill Animal Hospital has a clean location, and when they know you, the staff seem kind. But any veterinary clinic that is unwilling to work with a particular dog breed or dogs with special needs, is not one worthy of a good review.

Exceptional care for my old guy who dislikes both doctors appointments and calming pills. Dr. Adams and Heather took their time with Jack, ensuring he was comfortable with each step of the process and ready to stop should he begin arguing with them =)
It's a very calm environment and the front desk staff is so caring as well. Highly recommend this fine place.

I called Ivy Hill to try to buy some hypoallergenic treats for my dog. I had bought them there before. They said since I was not a client of theirs, they would not sell them to me. I just feel there was no Goodwill there. Very disappoint.

I have brought both of my dogs there since moving to Georgia 2 years ago. Since then both dogs have gotten excellent care. Both Drs and the staff are very nice and communicative. I wish that my own doctors were such.

Fabulous vet! We just moved into the neighborhood and were looking for a good vet. Nailed it on the first try thanks to Yelp. From start to finish every employee greeted us warmly and showed tremendous care for our dog. They took their time with us and gave us plenty of time to share our questions and concerns. Dr. Adams spent a lot of time with our dog, giving her a very thorough exam. She offered really helpful recommendations. We are very excited to have found "our" vet so quickly. Highly recommend!
