Aptly named so you know it's a great location. We just wished we could have stayed longer. We had w nice view from our roomn which was bright and beachy. The bed was comfy, everything was clean and breakfast was decent. No complaints really except the parking is a little tight under the hotel. The pool is small, but there was a additional patio area. We didn't have time to visit anyway. Maybe next time.
Walkability: Walk to shops and plenty of restaurants or out to the fishing pier.

Rooms were clean, staff was courteous, and the beds were comfy.
Nearby activities: Within walking distance of great eating, shopping, the pier and a great little park to walk ocean side.

Beware hotel does not give refund for cancellation within their policy. Had to to call the hotel to request a refund for cancellation. They don't automatically refund you for cancellation. They charged 1 night deposit.

What a wonderful Inn! The staff here is better than at any location I've ever stayed at before! I traveled with my wife and 2 other friends and the 4 of us shared a room. At one point I overheated from exploring the town in mid August. My wife and I returned to the room to find my card key had stopped working. I sank to the floor from heat exhaustion while my wife went to run to the front desk to get another key. While she was gone a maid found me on the floor and immediately became concerned. After I told her what was happening she raced to go get ice.
My friends returned while both my wife and the maid were gone and let me into the room with their card key. While I was in a cold shower, the maid had returned with a bucket of ice for me. And another inn employee returned with a new card, all within moments. The staff asked how I was feeling when they saw me later that evening.
As if this wasn't enough, we had another experience later when my friend's ice packs had frozen to the bottom of the mini freezer in our room. She's diabetic, and needs the ice packs to bring her insulin with her when we go out into town. I went down to the front desk and explained our problem and with no hesitation at all, the man behind the desk hands me a screw driver to try and pry the ice packs out with. It was a quick success.
The staff here legitimately cares about their guests. They're not just there for a paycheck. They went above and beyond for us and I don't know what we would have done without their kindness.

Great place to stay. Less than a block from the beach. One block to the Village. The lighthouse is across the street. Very friendly staff.

You can’t beat the location. The rooms are clean and cozy. The whole inn has a quaint, cozy feel and everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and pleasant. We’ll be back!
Rooms: Each room is unique in style and decor. Rooms are extremely clean, cozy and quaint.
Nearby activities: Lighthouse, the pier for fishing and crabbing, beach access, pool access, Neptune park and pool, shops and restaurants.
Safety: Incredibly safe.
Walkability: You can walk to restaurants, shops, historic museums, the pool, pier and beach. The location alone makes this place unbeatable.
Food & drinks: Free continental breakfast every morning. Wonderful coffee machine in the lobby that’s available 24/7 and makes everything from cappuccinos to espressos to hot chocolates.

Stayed here for one night. Upon entering room we found a granola wrapper on end table and a cockroach in bathroom floor. Also faucet would not turn off all the way. Very dated rooms and not necessary clean.
Would not recommend.
Rooms: Find somewhere else that is clean.

This is a nice little hotel in a prime area of Saint Simons Island. The only issues we had was there wasn't any parking when we arrived (all the spots were taken. The hotel let us park on the side of the driveway in front. The other issue was my wife called down to the desk for an additional blanket and the person at the desk said housekeeping wasn't around and she couldn't get to the blankets. Other than this it was a nice stay and the rest of the staff was friendly.

Wow!!! This place is amazing. The room was clean very clean. The shower is phenomenal! The pool is clean and refreshing. The staff goes above and beyond. Super sweet every time I passed the front or needed anything. Walking distance to downtown, pier, lighthouse, and so much more. We will be back.

Stated this hotel for two nights. Everything was fine except for the AC in our room (115) or someone else's room. It dripped all night and the noise from the water hitting metal kept b bme awake both nights. Staff was very nice. We did get locked out of our room at 10:30 even though check out wasn't until 11:00.. this happened as we came back from a nice breakfast. My boyfriend did forget a hat in the room and they did call him to let him know. Usually hotels do not do this and just keep your belongings or get rid of them. The location is excellent but if you do not like seeing crushed baby birds in parking lots then don't go to the tourist shopping center down the street. Very sad and sickening.

This is one of those hidden gems!! Hate saying how good it was out of fear of never being able to book again! This place was amazing! The staff was incredible and very friendly after a not so great trip down 95! The beds were so comfortable we hated leaving! Very clean rooms top to bottom! Fridge worked amazing as did the ac! Much needed in this southern heat! Highly recommend this quaint cozy inn!!

Highly recommend Saint Simmons Inn by the lighthouse, walking distance to everything and maybe two miles to the beach, will be booking again soon, top floor is dog friendly
