The lady we spoke with, she was real friendly and real helpful. The experience was wonderful, and we were able to rent it out for a little extra time due to our extended stay.

Wonderful experience with renting our Red Bug!! I called to make a reservation for our family of 4 about two weeks in advance since I read how fast they book. I spoke with John before making our reservation because we were going to have a toddler with us (5 years old) and I wanted to see if she would need her booster seat. After John answered my questions, he helped me book a 4-seater, gas powered bug. When I picked up our Red Bug everyone was really nice and extremely helpful in making sure I had everything I needed to make our experience enjoyable. I was told our gas bug would go for around 300 miles on the tank of gas provided, this was more than enough since I only booked for the one day. We have visited Jekyll many times over the years, and this was our favorite time since we rented our Red Bug and was able to go all over the island so easily. It was a big hit with our family to be able to ride so freely over the island at night. We are planning a trip back to Jekyll in September and I will definitely be renting another Red Bug for our stay, as is several of our other family members who are going.

We rented a 6 passenger electric cart for the day. We were told we could charge at charging stations all over the island; however the first 3 stations we can too had no power. We spent the majority of our day searching for a charging station rather than enjoying the island. The cart ran out of power after 7 miles. We mentioned this to the clerk upon returning the car and they said they were sorry! They didn’t offer any refund or a pass for another day. Take a gas cart if you rent here! The electric carts are not worth the money!

VERY UNSAFE FOR KIDS!! By law they make you have car seats on the rentals besides the pure fact that the rental are not maintained property they are NOT checked for safety functions after each rental contract. Staff has terrible customer service and act as if your beneath them since your not a local. Incredible to see a company this ungrateful for the business. We had our child in his car seat properly secure to the golf cart when out of nowhere the seatbelt came loose and car seat fell out of the gift cart WITH MY SON IN IT!!! Currently waiting on medical evaluation to make sure he is okay. Lawsuit will come from this if they don’t change the seat belting system on all their carts !ZERO STARS RATING

I can now officially mark renting a “Red Bug” golf cart off my bucket list of things to do in JI! ??Checking in was a snap! My fiancé and I had a Welcoming Party consisting of two beautiful *puppies*!Filled out the paperwork and was given a five second(s) tutorial on operating the golf cart and away I went! Very easy to operate AND fun. Even my fiancé enjoyed it.I thought the price wasn’t too bad; $449.40 for four days, it was nice to go places and zip along @ 25 mph ?Returning was easy too. It’s very convenient not having to refuel and if one needs fuel, it’s free of charge.Added bonus is my fiancé and I met the OWNER! Real nice and humble gentleman, it was nice to meet you ?Will probably rent another Red Bug the next time we visit JI and we visit A LOT!
