To start off, this is a 1940's motel, a lot of renovations but it still shows in the room. Cracks in tile, old stains in the floor. Overall clean, we did ask that they dust the air vents and the main light fixtures that were covered in dust for our daughters allergies. That did not happen during our stay. We did report a lamp not working in the living room and the office staff fixed that right away. The room is perfect for a small family, the bathroom is very tiny but it is clean.
The linens were clean and house keeping was accommodating with plenty of towels and changing our trash daily. We asked the office staff member with glasses (male) to help us clean the pool or make sure the pool filter was working. It did storm the day before but nothing was being sucked out of the pool by the filter. My husband and I cleaned it more than 15 times for our kids and it was still full of dirt. We never saw anyone help with the pool. We had to ask for towels. This same staff member smoking daily by the front door to the office was a major turn off . Also the lack of greeting guests. We would walk by and he would continue smoking like we were in his way. The rooms are very sound proof and the linens are clean. I do wish the rooms were dusted better and the pool was kept up more.
Rooms: Sound proof, older but clean. Clean linens.
Safety: Felt safe
Walkability: Close to Pier village
Food & drinks: Gas station near by and pier village for restaurants

This was a perfect location to walk to downtown restaurants etc., i will be back. I loved the cute decor in the rooms of the old school retro mini fridge to the pool area with the cool light etc. def worth the spot to stay and to be supporting a local inn vs. a chain hotel! Service was great at check in as well.
Rooms: Good size room and bathroom area
Nearby activities: Walkable to shops restaurants
Food & drinks: Del sur was great for a meal, drink and make sure you get the crem brule for dessert!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This was a quaint, family oriented hotel within walking distance of shopping and dining.
Rooms: We stayed in a larger room that accommodated 5. We loved it.

Great hotel, especially if you need multiple beds. Convenient to a lot of local shops, food, and the pier. The beach is about a 15-minute walk. I loved the decor is the rooms and the over vibe of the hotel. The check-in staff was nice and helpful. We only swam in the pool for about 30 minutes but it was very clean and well kept. Would stay here again!

Stayed in Room 5, great views of the oak trees with Spanish moss overlooking the pool. Large, very clean room. Retro finishes to match the era. Front desk staff incredibly helpful. Arrived way before check in, they got my room to me early, able to hang by the pool which had fast wifi while I was waiting for the room to be ready. And, no early check in fee for early arrival, unlike the chain hotels. This is what customer service is all about:) Finally, great location, all the restaurants and shops withing a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

This is one of top 3 places to stay while on the island. We highly recommend it. Clean, comfortable rooms, clean pool. Parking is sometimes a challenge but we always manage. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants.

The location of this hotel was ideal to the downtown shops and restaurants. It was also not a far drive to the beaches. The staff was friendly and quick to respond when we needed something. We found the room, although very clean, was dated. The carpet appeared to be old. We only stayed 2 nights. I would not have wanted to stay longer.

We LOVED Queens Court! The location is simply unbeatable -- you're literally across the street from great restaurants and shops, including several that offer Queens Court lodgers a discount. The pier is less than a 5-minute walk, and the motel offers free parking! All this at about a third (no kidding) of the price of other hotels on St. Simons.
The rooms are clean and have nice conveniences like a microwave, good-sized fridge, and Keurig. The rooms are a bit on the small side (for the US) and a little lacking in storage, like a dresser or shelves, but ours was just fine for a couple who only had one suitcase each.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our housekeeper said she liked working there because they pay good money, which I appreciated. We also enjoyed the lovely pool surrounded by live oaks draped in Spanish Moss. It's a peaceful, charming setting, and we loved the 1940s vibe.
Bottom line: If you're looking for massive, luxurious resort-style accommodations or a party-hearty location, this isn't your place. If you're looking for a local business that provides a clean, quiet, comfortable place for a couple or family to stay in a FANTASTIC location and that appears to have strong relationships with their employees and other local businesses, stay here! We will definitely be back on our next visit to St. Simons.
Rooms: The rooms are a little small and are a bit lacking in storage options like a dresser or shelving, but they're clean and the bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated that the shower was pretty large and that the room had a microwave, Keurig, and a really good-sized fridge that held all of our Cokes and beer for our vacation as well as leftovers from the great restaurants within steps from the motel.
Nearby activities: LOADS of things to do right on the main strip downtown!
Safety: This felt very quiet and safe at night. Not sketchy at all.
Walkability: You are literally across the street from multiple shops, restaurants, and about 5 minutes from the pier and lighthouse.
Noteworthy details: The location CANNOT be beat! And the motel offers free onsite parking, so we didn't have to bother trying to park closer to the pier.

Walking distance to the main strip on St Simon and I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit. Built in the 40s, there's lots of charm to this little inn. Small inn that offers personal service to their guests. There's a pool, charcoal grill and an awesome gas fire pit. Several of the guests would meet and share stories of what they did that day. I'd like to give a shout out to Donna and Brandon, who fell over themselves to make our stay the best. I can't wait to see you there again!

To be utterly honest from the outside it makes you go ehhhh, but once you check in and see the room it was so much nicer than we expected. The manager that checked us in was so polite and answered all my questions I had about coming back with my service dog. The room was clean and well lit. The bathroom was small but the hot water and shower made up for it, that was one of the best showers ever!! We will definitely be returning.
Walkability: Walking to so many things nearby.
