Absolutely love this little store. It feels like you are walking into someone's kitchen but everything is for sale. Everything from forks to Jelly to hand towels. Unfortunately JIA is trying to shut it down!! My family and I have been coming to Jekyll for decades and we are crushed about this news as are many others. Please come support this little store while they're still here!

Great spot for local antique dishes, gourmet small batch jars of sauces, olive oil, teas, seasoning, cookbooks, candles, gifts etc etc. Bought a few things!

Coffee was…just ehhh. Weak in my opinion. I notice some are saying the staff was rude. The lady who was working was neither rude or full of joy! Just kinda matter of fact. Usually gifty shop items.

We asked for a simple cup of cider and the shop attendant asked us to wait while she finished something. We didn’t mind waiting but the service afterwards was less than desirable. She was very short with us and when we were checking out, we made a mistake using the card reader. First, we went to pull the card out too early and she almost swatted at us saying “no no no.” We then tried to process the payment as credit and she was sarcastic in her correction of which button we should have pressed. For those of you visiting, this business was not worth ruining your mood over.

This is the best place for coffee on the island, period and Rhonda is positively wonderful! Try the “Jamaican-me-crazy” blend, it truly is out of this world fantastic and will wake everyone in the house, including the non coffee drinkers. We always come home with several pounds. Would recommend to all!

Very sad my grandchildren were yelled at by cashier and told to take their ice cream outside, which they were doing, because ice cream nuts would ruin her floor. Not a good idea to work in a tourist area if you don’t like children.

Extremely rude and nasty cashier who obviously doesn't want to be there. Got a coke out of their refrigerator and not reading the notes that say hold the door, it slammed shut. I said I was sorry and she had the nerve to say in a condescending snotty tone ...well, every shelf tells you to hold the door. Well, excuuuuse me ....! If this business spent as much effort in actually fixing the door instead of posting multiple notes, Miss Rude wouldn't have to act like the wicked witch ofJeckyll Island when it slammed. I hope it slams every time .....

This isn’t a grocery store. It’s a gift shop with limited choices.

The shop itself is great, wonderful gift ideas for yourself or the ones that didnt get to join you on this lovely island. The person working however should find a new profession. We have been in several times over the past years and she seems to view shoppers as an inconvenience. Do let her stop you from looking around and finding great gifts. Check out these wonderful tags
