I’ve been going to Sassafras since 2021 and today found the same quality and great atmosphere at the Jefferson location on my first visit, as I had grown accustomed to back in Commerce. Melanie goes the extra mile with all of her clients and everyone there is as friendly as you could ever ask for!

For as long as I can remember I’ve wished for long, beautiful hair. I’ve tried many different kinds of extensions; clip in, tape in, halos, and I’ve even tried sewn in extensions before. I had sewn in extensions with a previous salon, but I wasn’t being properly informed on the “how to do’s and don’ts”. They weren’t high quality to begin with then, I was being told to put oil on them, they were a different texture than my natural hair, and I wasn’t being forewarned about sleeping with my hair wet. Fast forward to April 2022; I was frustrated with my current salon and my subpar extensions so, I booked a consult with Shelby at Sassafras. She didn’t dilute anything about how much this was going to cost. Beautiful hair comes at a price, but Shelby has never steered me wrong. She’s upfront about everything from the cost down to the importance of drying the hair around your beads really well, and even to what color combinations will look best. Shelby is intelligent, kind, funny, and worth every penny( her and the extensions). My extension hair care isn’t perfect but, Shelby will graciously do what she can to fix it and get me back on track. I don’t have have to have these extensions, but after allowing Shelby to transform my hair into these beautiful locks I wouldn’t do my extensions with anyone else.

Beautiful place and super sweet ladies there. They offer everything from Hair to spray tans and facials. Make sure ro ask for Brooke she was soo nice and did great job with my spray tan.
