If I could give a negative 100 I would. Purchased Borden sliced cheese 6/15/24, opened it at home and it was covered in mold. Went out of date in January 2024. Someone is gonna get sick from this store. We will be contacting corporate, probably want help but we try. Wished we could submit photos! Also if we could pull up and all the employees not be out front smoking, obviously not caring about the store.

Went in the store today, a lady was trying to get a basket to shop with as well as myself and all of them were sticky and nasty... The lady nicely asked if they had any wipes to clean the baskets with, mind you she was asking for herself so she could do, the worker older gentleman Mike I believe kept making faces and not answering. So she asked him and he smirked and said "were hiring," absolutely rude and uncalled for. When I went to check out he said "we must not of met your standards, huh?" I said no, you were extremely rude to that lady for no reason. If you don't like your job, quit but there's no reason to be rude to someone asking a question and a paying customer.

Can someone please explain why every Time I visit this store ,they are always out of pet foods and milk among other things? I started using this store since it is closer to my house, but have to go elsewhere so much that it's almost always a wasted trip. There is an older woman manager that is ALWAYS on her phone (which she has on speaker Everytime) causing a longer wait due to her attention being there and she is never friendly (the scowl is always present). As a matter of fact, only a few there are the least but friendly, most are mean looking and quite rude to be honest. I was looking forward to having this store be closer, but it has been a big disappointment. Do better.

The bald manager is extreme and rude. I watched him and his associate accuse the guy in front of me of stealing. Told his associate to get the police on stand by and he locked the doors. Why? The guy apparently picked up a pack of fruit cups. Decided he didn’t want them and when he told the lady, she saw 2 of them in the bottom of his cart. He told her that his son was messing with them and they must have fallen out into the cart. She didn’t believe him so she and her manager went crazy. Over a dollar in merchandise, and when they saw the cameras they found he was in fact not trying to steal. All in front of his son. That bald guy has always been rude when I’ve been in there, but today, it was EXTREME for what it was. That store needs a manager that has the ability to communicate with customers in a friendly manner because this guy isn’t it.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. I have never been into a store so dirty. There were empty boxes in the aisles. Merchandise off of shelves in the aisles. Papers and trash in the aisles. I walked out too disgusted to buy anything. I’m sure that they are short on help but have employees stay a few extra hours after closing to clean up.

Dollar Generals are NEVER stocked very well. ALWAYS out of MANY items. ALWAYS.
