$6.00. Jasper Drug Store just lost a customer over $6.00. I had been getting my child’s ADHD medication filled there for the past several months and while I was there, I would shop and also shop in the cute little surrounding shops. So the day before I was to pick up the prescription, I called to make sure it would be ready and was told over the phone that they had it in stock and was assured it would be ready for pickup that following morning. When I arrived to get it, I was told it wasn’t ready and it would be about 15 minutes and asked could I wait? I told her I was meeting a friend for lunch and would stop back by a little later. When I went back to pick it up, the older lady said they didn’t have it and would not be able to get it. So I explained that I that I had called the day before and was told they had it in stock, I asked what happened to that? After I kept pressing for answers she finally told me that they were losing money on this prescription and even with my insurance payment and my co-payment, they were still losing money. And as a small business they couldn’t afford to fill the prescription. I explained to her my child is at The University of GA and was in the middle of final exams along with having three projects to be completed in the next few days. I said I am desperately needing this medication because without it they will “crash” and not be able to function for the next four to five days. I told her if they had let me know when they received the order, I would have had time to make other arrangements. I said how much money are we talking? I will gladly pay you the difference. She said $6. Then explained that they could not ask me to make up the difference because that would be insurance fraud. This is a whole new level of terrible customer service.

Great pharmacy with excellent customer service. Jack Dunn, the owner and a pharmacist there, recently stayed late and personally delivered a medication to my mom (A Doty) that she was in need of after hours. His dedication and concern for others is amazing.

Everytime I have come into the store to look around I'm not greeted by anyone that is friendly to me. I walk around looking at all the nice decor that they have which is beautiful but as for customer service goes I don't go into that store anymore to spend my money because I've never been treated well.

Jessica in the Pharmacy was nothing short of absolutely amazing yesterday. My son has an allergy to a certain ingredient, & when I couldn't find a pharmacy to give me his prescription without the ingredient (Dr. even notated on the script to NOT give him the ingredient because he's allergic, and that it was not necessary for the medication.) Jessica got his medication sorted out for me and FAST. She ran through the hoops with the doctor, the insurance, and other pharmacy, she compounded his medication herself to be sure the ingredient he's allergic to was omitted from the medication. She got all of this done in a matter of FOUR HOURS. Maybe even less. I actually went ahead & just switched my entire family to Jasper Drug while I was there because I was so happy with the way I was treated and FINALLY taken seriously about my son's allergy. Jessica is 10/10, and she deserves a raise.

My interactions with Jasper Drug Store had me moving my prescriptions from a national chain to Jasper Drug. Everyone is very professional, helpful, and friendly. Special shout out to the pharmacist, Jennifer, who worked very hard to fill a special prescription and then patiently explain how everything worked.

I required a specialty drug that was difficult to obtain. The Pharmacist was attentive and responsive. Just the kind of support that one needs when your health is in a challenging situation.

I moved to Jasper 9 years ago. I got tired of the impersonal and sometimes rude treatment of the large chain pharmacies. I went to Jasper Drugs today. What a wonderful experience! They took care of me right away. They were friendly caring people. I highly recommend!

Jack, Dewayne and all the staff are so helpful and kind. I will never leave after 37 years here. There is no better pharmacy in the USA! When we began Jacks parents were permanent fixtures there. Thank God for the love and care of Jasper Pharmacy!❤️❤️❤️

Jack and Travis are great. They both helped me with my compression sock needs. Very thorough and understanding. Travis answered all my questions and showed me how to put them on.
