Piggly Wiggly is a great, mid-sized market that serves its purpose well. It is very clean, well-lit, and has a great layout, making for easy in and easy out shopping with plenty of parking. The store is strategically placed for those in a hurry or too tired to go to a larger supermarket, allowing customers to get in and out in five minutes or less. It isn't about fancy things, but offers good options all around, including old-time favorites in the bakery, a good selection of Kool-aid flavors, ice cream, frozen pizza, frozen shrimp, veggies, meats, lunch meats, and other groceries that people like. The store also provides fabulous catering services for occasions, with great presentation, food, and professional, great-to-work-with staff. While prices are a little higher than larger chains with less variety, the store is down home and a great store for finding what you have a taste for.
Nice old timey atmosphere. Good prices and local food.
