I don't typically write reviews, but this daycare is absolutely wonderful. I have to single out Ms Lauryn Martin who is the best thing that could have happened to my little boy! She brought him out of his shell and gave him an abundance of love and confidence to progress into Kindergarten. Our family is forever grateful.

Our 3 year old daughter has been with New Odyssey since August 2021 and she has been thriving incredibly. Each morning, she looks forward to going to “school” with amazing friends. The staff has been amazing with our daughter so we are truly happy with the choice of daycare/school we selected for our daughter and will remain with New Odyssey until she starts kindergarten.

My child is enjoying being at New Odyssey Daycare (Hoschton) a lot. For a 4 year old, she’s developing real fast in writing and spelling. The teachers are friendly, and the facility is neatly kept.

We have been with New Odyssey since 2021, and we love it here!We switched from another nearby daycare after a bad experience. Within the first full week at New Odyssey, everyone knew my son's name, a marked difference from the staff at the previous, which didn't know which room my then 9 month old was in (!)Every teacher that has been at New Odyssey has been wonderful with my son, and he's in a great group of students. The building is clean and bright, and my son looks forward to going to school each day. (Especially in the summer, when they have splash pad day.)I'm so pleased with New Odyssey, and I'm so glad they had a spot for us when we needed one!

New Odyssey for Children has been amazing it started off a little rocky, but the staff is great with my son Chosen, Elizabeth Meeves is very helpful and informative, Lauren, Rachel, Leticia, cafeteria staff, everyone that plays a part with him is a friend with me. Sometimes as parents we are afraid and have so many expectations but we have to learn to count our blessings everyday is not going to be perfect and the workers are a major help to us so we can go to work so we need to thank them everyday for their hardworking and support.

I am so grateful we found this place. All the staff and help are awesome. The establishment is very clean and well kept. Children are served breakfast, lunch and snacks. The outside toy and play area is perfect for kids of all ages. They even have a splash pad my son enjoys. I also love how diverse the staff and all the children are. My son has been here full-time since he was 10 weeks old. I love that he gets to grow with the same group of kids. He is now 2 and thriving. He loves it here, as do we. And as long as we are living in the area he will continue here until elementary. They even have a pre-K class that is GA certified. And if your child is already within the daycare system, they automatically have a spot in the class. The location is also next door to the Millcreek HS, Middle School and Duncan Elementary. Overall, highly highly recommend!! Your child will thrive and love it here too!

My family is from Florida and our 1 year old daughter has not been in daycare prior to coming to New Odyssey. I was skeptical for all the same reasons as any parent. However, the staff at Millcreek has been awesome and very helpful with my transition. The leadership from Josette, Jennifer and Debbie has all been great. I read reviews prior to deciding to register my daughter and read reviews about Jennifer Turner, the assistant director which gave me pause. I am so elated that I trusted my gut feeling and not the one sided opinion of a review. Jennifer Turner has been a delight and adds so much value to NOFC. She truly cares about your experience here and communicates with parents well. These past 5 months have been a gift to have my daughter cared for by the leadership and the direct care staff to whom all are wonderful. Thank you Ms. LaToya and Ms. Lauryn for loving on my baby girl. I highly recommend New Odyssey for Children. I love you guys!

Its so sad to see some of the negative reviews. My children have been going to this daycare for over 3 years and all the staff has been so welcoming and accommodating. The teachers and administration have always looked out for the best interest of the children and their safety. They are quality rated and have been for as long as I have known which means that they have to have a low student to teacher ratio so the comments that they are understaffed are inaccurate. My daughter loves going to school each day and each room even the infant room has a "curriculum" which is posted right in each of the rooms so the comments that anything other than the PreK is not structured or they are not learning is also inaccurate. We get pictures and updates throughout the day so we know exactly what our children are doing. I cant imagine that working in childcare is easy by any means and they have done a wonderful job we wouldn't go anywhere else :)

FOOD ALLERGY/SPECIAL NEEDS PARENTS - Do not put your kids here. My son attended pre-k here. I came across something today that rehashed my entire experience and how bad it was. I couldn’t not write a review.Food allergy issues: They are extremely particular about what they allow you to pack your kid for lunch. My son is allergic to dairy. The school is VERY conscious of nut allergies but did not give two craps about his dairy allergy. I could not pack him virtually any basic snacks like organic vegan “cheezits”, organic veggie straws, ketchup packets, etc.. They nitpicked something in his lunchbox on a weekly basis. As if having a preschooler with a food allergy isn’t hard enough!! They said it was because they didn’t allow foods that were processed in the same facility as nuts but 1- I sent them labels for the foods that show where it says “nut free facility” and 2- if they care so much about being nut free, why didn’t they care about my sons allergy?!?Then there were the parties. At Christmas, the ONLY food my child could eat was the snack I signed up to bring. Many of the foods could have easily been made a dairy-free option. Like instead of Doritos, having regular or BBQ lays chips. But the teachers didn’t care enough to put in the effort to make the Christmas party inclusive. My son attended private 3yo pre-k at a church and is now in 1st grade. Our experience in pre-k at New Odyssey was by far the worst as far as dealing with his allergies in school goes. His other teachers have been incredible. This place acted inconvenienced and I often felt singled out. Only reason I didn’t leave was because nowhere else had a pre-k opening. They allow high schoolers to park in their parking lot. One of them backed into my nanny while she was waiting in the carpool line. Thankfully no kids were in the back seat!! Do you think they banned the teen from parking there?? Nope. The daycare owner didn’t even seem to see what the big deal was or understand why I was so upset. She didn’t even call me. It took her 2 days to call me back after I called her. It is careless and irresponsible. The other reviewer is right. Jennifer at the front desk has a bad attitude. That seems to be pretty standard among daycare front desk staff though. So, if your child has food allergies or other special needs, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. These people don’t go the extra mile.

This place is only out for your money! Jennifer who works up front is rude! For the price you pay here, you could have your child in a private daycare.

For most that out looking for a daycare. You may choose this daycare because of the location. We'll, I did. It was close to home and in between both of my jobs. My child attended New Odyssey for 1 month and within that 1 month there was an issue every week. When you take a tour, they can really sell you on why you should register your child. What they fail to mention is they're EXTREMELY short staff, the children that are not in Pre-K does not have a learning curriculum, and the communication between management too parent is terrible. I stressed to Jennifer(assistant director) that my child may have an allergic reaction to a certain fruit. If that fruit is served I will like for him to be given something else. Guess what? On his first day he was given the exact fruit! Jennifer excuse was "it was late that evening when I registered the child and I wasn't able to get his chart in, in time." Crazy right? Not only that, my child has fallen out of chair, and I was not notifed till I picked him up, also my child's hand was closed in the bathroom door in the classroom. There are several other incidents, however the key point is if you choose this daycare. PLEASE DON'T! IF YOU DO, CHOOSE WISLEY! The owner Tricia Williams does not care about the children or how the staff are treating others. She's just there for a check! EVERYONE! It shows!

Jennifer at the front desk should be fired! She really gives the place a bad rep. The worst thing about it is, the management allows her to stay there without any reprimanding regarding her behavior. I know several parents who have found other daycare arrangements because of this one person. The only thing that really keep parents at this daycare is the location but there comes a point where you would rather drive an extra 15 mins away than spend your money at a place where your voice is not heard.

New Odyssey is a great childcare center my child loves it there. The staff is very friendly and helpful answering all my questions. I would definitely recommend this center to other parents.

We've had two children here over the years. Staff is kind and friendly. It's well run and managed.
