The Ark Animal Hospital staff was amazing (they were so kind for a difficult situation involving my mother and her dogs). They were able to get me in same day and help my mom's pup get the care she needed. Sweetie, her dog, is very timid (she was a rescue) and one of the staff (I will update once I get the name when we go for our follow up) was able to get lots of licks before we left (I was really impressed with how comfortable and kind they were). I would recommend Ark to any of my friends or family looking for a local Vet in the Hiram/Dallas area!

Maggie (2y3m) is a ball of energy and the staff is able to navigate her with relative ease and they have patience with her which is a blessing. I am thankful for how well they handle my almost 80lb baby.
As for my old girl, Sadie Mae (11y6m), they are gentle with her and take time to evaluate her to ensure her health remains good.

Always very pleased with the kind staff. We hsve been going there about 15 yrs. And always happy with the care. The boys actually want to go inside now Instead of being hesitant when they realize where we are. Dr. Bowen had always been amazing. We are decimate going to miss him now that he retired.

Every time I’ve been here I’ve had bad experiences. They’ve called and canceled appointments, they’re always having issues with doctor availability. I switched my pets back to a vet 35 minutes away from my house instead of here which is 5 minutes from my house due to the terrible experiences we’ve had here.
The ladies up front are so kind and even the vet techs. I’ve never had someone there be rude to me or unprofessional however it’s inconvenient that mostly every appointment we’ve ever had there got rescheduled or canceled due to a Dr not being available.
TodayI tried to take my cat there after being discharged from Westside Atlanta Emergency Vet because he needed to be hooked up to more fluids and had a fever of 105, Westside left his iv in and transferred his records to the Ark so he could continue treatment there, when we got there they informed me there wasn’t a doctor available and we’d have to go somewhere else. This was my final straw with them and their issues with Doctors. How is there not a doctor available? They referred me to East Paulding Animal Hospital and that’s where we went and I highly recommend going there instead of here, it’s only 5-10 minutes away from there and the doctor is actually there!
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Worst vet in history left my brothers dog with a botched tail doesn't care about animals and honestly has no business working with animals. Failed to give care instructions as well didn't send pain meds home. Also has an attitude problem. Do not let this man touch your animals
