Good deal on some 245/50R20s that were in fine shape. Nice guys and eager to help. Give them a shot.

I was reccomended this place by Sean, who works at Valvolive off Charles Hardy Pkwy. We were about to enter the shop but a man with a beard shows up inside, pointing to meet him at the side of the building.
Out comes a guy who is ragged, long pony tail, white beard, wearing a knee brace, and upfront asks me what he can do for me. I needed to get two used tires and rotate my older ones to the back. He then lectuered me on the size of tire and where to find it. I can tell he was annoyed but I let it brush pass me. He is the only one working today so I told myself as long as he can do the job well, then that's all that matters.
I asked what his name is, called himself "Mud." So Mud has his music on as he's working on our tires. Asks me which I like better Elvis or The Beatles. So we had this whole conversation about different artists and his time with Jimmy Carter (former president) and a band member with REM.
The tires he used were in pretty good shape, and tread matched to my older tires. He's a hard shell, but just talk to him. He loves music, pop culture, and he offers great prices for his services. If you treat him right, he will treat your right... Just know what kind of tires you need before going up to him otherwise he's going to give you the lecture as well. Lastly, his name isn't really Mud, but call him that until he tells you what his real name is.
Anybody that is in need of used tires, I will reccomend Southern Tires for sure.

Great customer service, the guy who took care of me was very nice and honest. They don't charge you an arm and a leg. I have been their customer for 6 years and I have nothing negative to say.

very bad place to fix a tire that was flattened by a nail, they damaged a 200 dollar tire and i still paid for the supposed patch and had to temporarily buy a second hand tire and they just wouldn't admit their fault. I put one star because you can't put less. I do not recommend it at all !!

Their service was great! Needed my tires replaced and they took care of me and didn’t charge me an arm and leg. I definitely recommend supporting local businesses like Southern Tire and Supply.

Great to meet the person in charge at this location. Gave good honest advice, was friendly, and thanked me for my business and the tip.

I had the Hiram location put tires on my nearly $60,000 15k mile car in an attempt to fund the ""mom and pop" stores rather than a dealer. They caused cosmetic damage to pristine wheels that had never been touched. This was due to using the wrong tool to remove wheel weights. When I spoke to the owner (at Douglasville location) I was told a blatant lie. That was normal and that the machine did that. I've personally changed thousands of tires and not once done this. All it took was a plastic scraper to perform the job properly. The owner then went on to tell me that I should "just take a sharpie to it". Literal chisel gouges in my wheels. A sharpie. I was then even told that if I didn't want the service performed that way I shouldn't come to them. Duh. I did my best to calmly come to an agreement with the owner to help get the wheels repaired. Only to be told he'd call me and then radio silence. Just ghosted me. It's sad that hack mechanics get away with this stuff every day. All he had to do was offer literally anything. I couldn't even get an apology from this guy. Much less a few bucks to even help in the repair. Now that I'm out $600 to fix his techs negligence, I'm here to hopefully keep it from happening to anyone else.

Good workers got in and out quickly. Price was kinda expensive for 2 tires but it is what it is.
