I have been in Hiram for 3+ years. Although this is the closest station to me, I won't set foot in there. The owner AJ treats people terribly, everything is overpriced, one of the clerks tried to scam me out of cash, the older lady at the register always has an attitude with customers, it's dirty / unkept, I could go on. Do yourself a favor and drive a little farther to an honest station like I do, these people don't deserve your money.

I've been coming to this convenient store since I was a kid, and most recently it has had a makeover and what looks like a change of hands to a Shell station. I was honestly glad at first because the place needed some upgrades. I had an unfortunate experience in which the elderly man at the register didn't charge me correctly for gas I bought. I have no idea what happened but when I go to remove the nozzle from it's holder, the fuel choice is automatically set to the highest grade. I place it back to restart and it just says please wait. Not even there minutes have passed and I go into the store to make sure pump five was activated correctly. Same guy, and I ask him about pump five and how I paid $40 and he just blankly stares and says "When?". I understand it's an older gentlentman and what not, but a literal three minute time gap happened and you can't remember I purchased gas and sports drinks from you? I checked my account to make sure I wasn't double charged after the elderly man said he just didn't charge me for it, and it did not. He was completely confused as to how it was "never charged". I wouldn't think it too strange except it has happended to me before at another Shell gas station. I'm not sure what happened to the lady that worked at the front or the younger guy when this station was a Petro but it's clearly been bought out and has completely changed hands. I'm sorry but I get weird vibes when walking into this place now. Come up with whatever excuse you want for the situation, this place is not inviting like it used to be in years prior. I will never step foot inside this station again.
