I don't usually share negative reviews. HOWEVER, I just regrew my hair after illness so this really hurt and I want to share this because I do think this is something thing that's so easily avoidable
I went here for a haircut recently and it was so bad I literally cried when I left. I wanted my hair a little past my shoulders with layers. She cut it blunt, no layers, and chin length. I look ugly. Genuinely ugly. The biggest issue is that it was AFTER she cut a huge chunk that she addressed it and at that point nothing could be done. If she would have communicated before cutting my hair it would have saved so much heart ache. If she would've said "Hey, I don't think this cut will look good because your hair texture is thin and you said you lose a lot of hair easily. How about this cut instead?" I could've said "Oh yeah but please do it shoulder length I don't like short hair on me" BOOM PROBLEM WOULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED. Goodness I'm upset.
Please communicate before cutting someone's hair.

This is in no way an attack on the business, it’s just regarding a certain middle age black lady with short hair. I came in for a blowout. It seemed like she did not even know what a blowout was. I even showed her a reference pic from the last time I was at the same salon. She still did not understand. She dried my hair straight with a hair dryer and then curled my hair using a flat iron. It looked okay from the front, but when I got home my family started laughing at me because it looked so horrendous from the back and looked really flat from the top. I called her back and she said she will not refund me because “i paid for her time” like yes I paid for your time because I thought you were skilled. You clearly are not. Anyways, if this is the lady who did my hair and you are seeing this, just know you made me cry.

If I could give this salon a 0 star rating I would. I made an appointment to have my daughter’s hair curled for prom. I didn’t want it washed or anything, just curled. When I got to the salon the girl who was supposed to do my daughter’s hair wasn’t there so they put us with someone else. I showed her a picture of some curls and there was a little twist on the sides to go around the back. I asked her if she could do that and she said yes no problem. The curls that she did versus the curls from the picture are not even close to the same thing. She did the twists to the back and had put a few Bobby pins in to hold it in. My daughter who is special needs and I informed the stylist of this when we got there pulled on one side of the twist a little. The stylist then sighs and starts ripping the Bobby pins out of my daughter’s hair as fast as she could as my daughter is saying she’s hurting her. She then takes all of it out as fast as she can ripping through her hair. Tells me she’s done then has me go up to the front to pay. I was crunched for time so I didn’t have time to stand there and complain. I was very disappointed in the way the staff handled things, the stylist was awful and the front desk staff didn’t seem to have any clue as to what they were doing. The photos I’m posting are what I asked for and what I got.

The staff at this location are amazing. The photographer is very experienced and the prices are reasonable for the amount of photos you get. You are able to see your photos immediately after the session. At that time you are able to select the ones you want. the photos are ready in a few days which is always a plus. They often have specials where you can get a discount on your photos. This was a very good experience. I will definitely be returning to this location.

I bought 2 children to get hair cuts and was charged adult prices because the stylist didn't like the hair cut I chose. First she wanted to argue about the cut and then say she can't do it and then she did it perfectly twice but over charged us. I will be finding a new salon.

I am absolutely appalled by the service. They charged me $50 for a shampoo. I did not have a style and I left the store with my hair dripping wet. They also charged this outrageous fee to my 12 year old daughter who wanted to surprise me. I am awaiting JCP manager feedback, I hope this can be resolved.Follow up: I did call the number as advised. I was informed that I had to wait 3-5 business days to follow up. I am incredibly disappointed in this lackluster customer service.JCP can and should do better.

So much better than the Douglasville or Kennesaw stores. Those both look like they are going out of business. Hiram store is very well stocked and organized. I will definitely return.

Very clean. Very organized. Let's be honest. I've lived near Hiram for 6 years and didn't know this store was here. I was on a hunt for Paul Mitchel hair care products. Nice ladies in the salon helped me out. The store seemed nice. The people working there seemed attentive. I might circle back if I'm in need of some new cloths.

It makes no sense that the sale price is given in the store that is advertised online. So I had to order on my phone, go to my car and let someone walk it out to me. Ridiculous!

I asked my hair to be tapered in the back and long in the front. Instead , she cut majority of my hair and my hair is very uneven in various locations. She tried to say I showed her a picture when I have never showed her a picture. My daughter was there and watched it happened but when I called to speak to the manager, she proclaimed my daughter never came with me.Service: Hairstyling
