They have been in business most of my life for good reasons simply because They are good at what they do and I trust them .I have thousands of hours invested in computer science/programming and the automotive repair industry and it is so misleading that people believe reading codes with a code reader is somehow diagnostics . Late model cars are becoming more complex everything is computer controlled ,troubleshooting requires not only expensive equipment and knowledge, skill it also requires paying for oem required service information. Aftermarket Professional scan tools are not only expensive but paid subscription based .There are those situations out there where programming is the only remedy and most parts replaced require being coded to the vehicle . A code reader doesn't know that there are broken or melted wires or loose or a connections etc. I'm here to say that good shops like this don't operate or exist out of their own pocket . The average person lacks education on what it takes because of the belief that going to a big box store and getting a free code scan along with a printed shopping list is free diagnostics . A 100 trouble codes can be set by one bad connection and I know those to be facts ... .. thrifts auto gets my support and recommendationsService: General repairs & maintenance

An auto repair place that proclaims to fix everything, but doesn't work on 4 wheel drives. Make it make sense. Zero stars ⭐️

I used to really like this shop, have used them for years. Lately they have really made me feel like they have been playing a guessing game with my car at my expense. I took my car to get checked around June 14th because I noticed the temperature going up on it. The technician checked it, said it was low on coolant, this cost me $47. I drove the car for about a week maybe a week and a half, then it started trying to overheat again. I took it back around the 24th, this time it was the thermostat, so the technician said. Changing the thermostat and the cabin filter, which I asked them to do cost me $200. So I got my car back maybe the 27th and it sat for about 5 days because we went on vacation for July 4th. I drove my car for a few days after we got back on the 5th and wouldn't you know it around the 11th the car started to overheat AGAIN. This time the technician said it it was the radiator and it needed to be replaced to the fine ole tune of $550. Picked the car up on the 13th. Going to work on July 22nd the car started to overheat again. I called to try to get an understanding of what could possibly be going on with my car this time, what could possibly keep causing this car the overheat, why these expensive repairs only last a week or so? Of course I got the answer that it can be different things and if it is not doing it while it is at the shop they can't tell me what the issue is. So I took my car back on the July 25th this time it was the oil cooler, which was $600 but they say I was eligible for a discount so I would only have to pay $475. At this point I really feel like I shouldn't be paying anything especially labor for the work that it has taken four times to try and get right. So when they called and told me today that my car was done but it needed and oil change because there was water in the oil for an extra $110 for synthetic or $90 for regular oil. I said I can get an oil change at Wal-Mart for $50, so I will just get it changed there. The person at the shop said okay but it needs to be done today or tomorrow. I picked up my car took it to Wal-Mart for the oil change and Wal-Mart would not change the oil because there was coolant in the oil, so I needed to take it back to the shop. I took it back to the shop and told the lady that I talked to earlier that Wal-Mart wouldn't change the oil because there was coolant in the oil and she said "Yeah that is what I said" and I am like "No you said there was water in the oil" and she said "Water and Coolant is the same thing". I am so done with this shop after I pay them this $100 for this oil change.Water and coolant is not the same........I can drink water and be fine but I cannot drink coolant and be fine so it is not the same thing!!! I am very disappointed with the service that I have received here and for the people at the shop to act like it is nothing.

Friendly owner but policies are antiquated and out of date. They don't make apointments and the first come/first serve program is only available when all previous work is caught up. Wish they could fix those issues. Otherwise, they are a good service.Service: Brakes

Not recommended. They left my truck in the lot unlocked and it was rummaged through by a vagrant. They charged a much higher price than what was needed and did not give a complete job. To actually get the truck to run correctly after replacing the engine they wanted an additional almost $1500 to get it to run right. Not to mention my paint was scratched and the truck was full of mud inside after the job, which they said did not happen. I had no problem connecting the loose wires they did not connect and actually filled the coolant. I would never take another vehicle there.

Absolutely amazing! My car was diagnosed within an hour of them having it, and was repaired within 3 hours of being there. The price was extremely affordable. I would definitely use again if needed, and would recommend to anyone in Hinesville.
