This was a wonderful brunch. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. She took pictures of us and was very entertaining and friendly. Really a People person. And our waitress Melissa was awesome. She had the whole room to herself and did a great job. Really very very good, and the brunch was just terrific. I have steak tips coming out of my ears. That and bloody Mary’s.

The resort is looking a bit run down. It looks more like a motel... carpet needs to be washed or replaced, walls need repainting, chipped mirrors need replacing, etc.The gym needs a few more pieces of equipment. The hallway restrooms were horrendous. My mom, in a wheelchair, had one stall available to her in the lobby area. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the sink didn't work! Because of rainy, cold weather the wedding was held in the conference room. As we tried to enter, we saw that there were 4 steps to get to the room. We had to wheel the 78 yr old outside in the rain and cold since it was her grandsons wedding. We had_> to

The Perfect Wedding weekend! The Ridges staff and The Oaks Kitchen meet our expectations and it was a seamless rehearsal dinner for our Son and new Daughter! We booked the Ridges in January for our November rehearsal dinner and a block of reasonably priced little mountain town resort rooms for our families & friends flying in and driving from all over the US. Lauren & Amanda were fabulous as well as Alexandra, Rhonda, Karen and all the staff. The food was delicious as all our guested commented when Thanking is for a lovely rehearsal dinner. The atmosphere and experience was top notch! Our family, friends, and I all agreed the beds were comfortable, clean rooms that were inviting for the wedding weekend. The lakeside views and convenient walking trails, parking and dog friendly. We would highly recommend!

This place is straight up disgusting! It smells terrible, the rooms have old dirty carpet. I am afraid to sleep here. This our first night and I want out. The hallways are freezing and the whole resort has dirty smelly carpet throughout. For the price they charge this place should be upgraded. I think I might sleep in the car.

The grounds are beautiful but the rooms need updating. Musty smell through the room and lodge that made my allergies come out. There is only a seasonal/outdoor pool. Need to request basic items (like tissues and toilet paper, towels) and there is no service at night so you have to make sure you have what you need during their hours. The evening fire was nice but overall this was priced too high for what it offers, it is comparable to other hotels at half the price.

I absolutely love it there! The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about their business and the beautiful environment they represent. They inspire visitors to explore the entire region. Their restaurants are incredible. Their Chef Josh is very talented. He takes a lot of pride in his menu! The steaks, brussel sprouts, potatoes and desserts are incredible. They have a fantastic management staff! Everyone should visit and enjoy the entire Resort! They are fantastic people!Rooms: Very comfortable and clean. They are proud of their entire Resort. They are surrounded with beautiful mountains and lakes! They are close to North Carolina.Nearby activities: Great restaurants, boating and places to discover.Food & drinks: As stated above

Fall in Young Harris, GA was incredible this year- between the weather/beautiful changing of the leaves and amazing events, we had the best weekend of our lives!! We got married in the area and many of our out of town Guests stayed at the Ridges. Both Andrew Bechard, the Director of Sales, and Lauren Davis were very responsive and easy to work with. Andrew was very friendly and eager to provide time for a tour of the property (with our 2 dogs) to properly plan the events in advance. The High Cove Ridge room had a spectacular bay window which provided a great view for an indoor space. The Lakeside Pavilion at The Ridges Resort was an exquisite location for a fall outdoor cocktail party following an afternoon of boating on Lake Chatuge. The location offered a number of great photographic opportunities that included the mountains and the lake as well as a paddle wheel, that were all perfect backdrops for individual and group photos. A lovely sunset was certainly a bonus. The proximity to the marina was a definite plus for one stop parking and elimination of travel between events. Having the fire pit and seating area near the pavilion was great for the crisp fall weather. Even though this venue was just off Hwy 76, it did not affect the ambience. Diane and the wait staff were friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The selection of “light bites” was diverse and everything was delicious. The crabcakes and the sliders went very quickly! This offered the perfect ending for a destination wedding the day before. We would definitely recommend if you are looking to host a memorable wedding weekend!

Came at 11:30, they gave us a key and we went in the room and there were people in the room. Came back, they said that they would clean another room and have it ready at 2:00. We come at 2:00 and see housekeeping walking to the room at 2:00. We wait 40 minutes and then are able to get in the room. Check my phone, get a $300 charge on top of the $360. When I bring it up, they say I will get the money back in about 5 days it was a mistake. They then inform me on top of the $360 I paid I also have to pay a $20 resort fee. So I book a $360 room and they want me to spend $20 resort fee or I cant even use my $360 room reservation which I bet I couldn’t get a refund on. I am a pretty easy to please but this I believe would be hard to deal with for anyone. Would not recommend this place based on my experience.

We were looking for a room late in the afternoon and I really loved this location with views of lake Chatuge. The beds were very comfortable, but the rooms we stayed in needed refreshing. Staff was generally friendly, but were not given much latitude to make guests feel really appreciated. And for some reason our stay was not allowed to count for Stash rewards which seemed really crazy.A little bit of attention to the coffee station could make mornings so much better at this beautiful location. Also if they would open the pool before 10 so guests could use it before check-out, that would be a real bonus.Overall, a lovely location, but I wouldn't stay again. We travel frequently stateside and in Europe (mostly in accommodations in this price point), but found this hotel struggled with some of the details that are necessary for great hospitality.

We enjoyed our vacation here. Such a beautiful facility. The staff was amazing. Over all great stay. Just a few minor things to comment on. Our room was very nice but when we arrived the 2 trash cans in our room had no trash bags in them. There was a smell in our room???? Not sure what it was but kinda of a musty smell. But after a couple of days we got used to it. My wife said she loved this place but wished they had a hair dryer in the room. Pretty much all places we’ve ever stayed at had a hair dryer in the room so she didn’t bring hers. No microwave in the room either. We also had a lot of gnats flying around our room not sure why???? But they were with us the entire time. And just as a personal preference I wish the shower had a seat in it and that the shower head was adjustable and also a handheld. And last the last night of our stay we came home from the concert that we attended and found out that there was no place to park!!!!! We had to park in another parking lot quite away from where we were staying. There was a truck with a boat trailer taking up five parking spaces yes he had been there a couple of days also but parking was not an issue those days but I guess the resort was full that night. He should have been told he had to move it because of lack of parking for that evening. But just for those few issues I find the place was very nice and enjoyed my stay here but for the money we spent to stay here and have those issues I really don’t think that is acceptable.I feel like we couldn’t stay here again. For what it cost we expected a higher standard. Just our opinion. But such a beautiful facility. I would say you to give it a try you may not have any issues. And we give it two thumbs up and one down ?????? .

This is a pleasant hotel on the lake and adjacent to the marina. The rooms are a good size. Beds were comfortable. Linens were in good condition. Staff is welcoming and check in and check.out were seamless. It is close to everything in the area. One of the better hotel options in the area.

I had an awesome stay. My room had a smell to it but I had an incredible stay. The day and night time staff were awesome. They answered all of my questions. The sever in the dining hall went above and beyond. She was awesome. I would stay here again and again. Very nice place.

We stayed one night recently and loved the hotel. The service was fine and the room clean. The marina restaurant serves the best unicorn fish, jerk-style. We (family of four with two children) will definitely stay again. The lakeside obstacle course was fun for the kids.

We have been before and the scenery is beautiful, the lake charming and the pool nice. The Marina restaurant is good, nice view and food. The Oaks restaurant.... is pretentious and overpriced. Nice atmosphere, but silly ads of being elite. The hotel is worn in places, carpet, doors and shampoos, etc.Bring your own.We enjoyed our stay, laughter, children and firepit at night. It will be beautiful in the fall.
