Claudia, a pharmacy tech, I suppose, was so rude to me when I went to pick up my prescriptions this evening. I had 3 kids in the car 2 with strep (ages 12, 5, 4), she told me that they were working on it and it would be ready in 45 minutes as rudely said as possible. I couldn't have the kids wait in the car that long so I had to drive back home to Hayesville then come back 45 min later. Instead of me, my daughter went back to pick up the meds and this same person, Claudia, was rude to her as well and also rude to someone else who was ahead of her in line. Claudia continued with my daughter for about 10 - 15 minutes of trying to confuse her with other prescriptions for other people in my family that had nothing to do with this order. So my daughter called me to try and clear this up. After this time, my daughter realized one of the meds in the order had to have water added as it should be a liquid, Claudia was going to give it to her in powder form, my daughter said "Don't you have to mix this one?" She added the water, didnt shake it up, my daughter said "Dont you need to shake that?" Rudely Claudia handed off the order to another tech and walked away. I have no idea what her issue was and really don't care. I have used Ingles in Hayesville with no issues in picking up orders ever, but Hayesville is no longer open on Sunday so I had to come here... never again. I'll drive 20 miles someplace else. I plan to call corporate tomorrow to see if they care.

Good bakery and hot food area. Store is clean and organized. We came here late and were at the checkout at exactly 10:00 pm. Checkout lady was extremely rude. Guess she really wanted to go home. Other workers are not the most friendly.

Simply the worst pharmacy experience ever. I won’t bore you with the details of my situation. But the descriptions of the service in the other one-star reviews, accurately describes my experience as well.

Visited Ingles Market in Hiawassee, Georgia today. Always liked Ingles and shop at my local Ingles in another town. Used their bathroom facilities (Female), it was the most unclean restroom I have been in for years. Almost all toilets were dirty, one handicap toilet was out of order. Toilet paper, trash on floor and fecal matter on walls. The smell was awful in the store. This was not just from one or two days of not cleaning, but weeks of neglect. Needs to be corrected as Ingles is such a great shopping place for most communities here in Northeast Georgia.

SLOW, RUDE, AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CONSUMER! Went today and was 60 short on meds and was accused of stealing in front of a full store! Come to find out it was their mistake and wouldn't apologize it was extremely humiliating! The male pharmacist apologized but Tracy Swanson refused to apologize and she's always rude along with pharmacist Kim! ALWAYS COUNT YOUR PILLS! Me and my family will NEVER BE BACK!

Came by to fill a prescription, waited an hour after already called in. Just to get home and be shorted of my meds, called them to find a resolve and all I got was "I'm right, you're wrong" pretty typical. Save yourself the time and find a better pharmacy.

Traveling through South Carolina we came across this store- American owned for the cheapest gas around! I went inside and found my European Margarette daisies for $6!!!!! I've searched everywhere even Amazon and found them here! Great German food selection and herbs and fresh sprouts! Wish we had one of these grocery stores in my town!

I have been frustrated with the service I've received for the past two months. Last month I renewed my prescriptions by phone, all at the same time. When I got to the store, only three of the four were ready. I had to hang around the store an additional 20 minutes while the fourth on was filled. Yesterday morning, I dropped off a new paper prescription for my four medications and told them I would pick them up yesterday afternoon. When I went back in the afternoon, only one of the four had been entered into the system. The pharmacy tech found the paper prescription and entered the other three. I told him that I would be back this afternoon to pick them up, and he assured me they would be ready. Well, they weren't. The young man working yesterday was the same one who had dropped the ball last month. I assumed he was new then, but he's obviously still dropping balls. He wasn't working today, so I really couldn't complain since the woman working today was working yesterday. I tried to complain to store management, but the pharmacy seems to have its own management. I'm giving the pharmacy 2 stars today. I will bring the rating down a star if my medications are not ready tomorrow.

Very nice location with a very large selection. This was our go to place when visiting the lake area near by.

I haven't been to an Ingles in a while and just always remember them as "the mountains grocery store chain" from time spent when my in-laws lived in the NC mountains. Also remember them as OK but not great. My opinion moved from OK to definitely good based on multiple visits while in the Hiawassee area on vacation. They are very well stocked and have what I would consider some luxury-ish ingredients to boot (Natalie's OJ instead of just Tropicana or Simply Orange for example). The produce we bought was all decent save some packaged green leaf lettuce where the outer leaves were kind of wilted/brown. Bought steaks for grilling one night that were good quality and flavor, was directed by the Seafood Manager to some frozen local NC shrimp when I needed more than he had at the counter. They cooked up well as part of a shrimp boil and were of great quality. There was not one thing we needed during the trip that this Ingles did not have. Their self checkout is quite slick as well.

First time in an Ingles store and I enjoyed it! All of the associates were pretty friendly and helpful.. they had some organic/gluten free options. I wish they had more variety for protein bars like Garden of Life or something. They had like 15 different bars that were totally sold out, which I understand-- the hikers probably are in and buy them out regularly haha would definitely come back here when I'm in the area!
