“My husband and I have been married for 17.5 years and we have one son who is 14 years old. We left our son and dog with Grandpa and this was the most perfect romantic holiday weekend getaway for two! The location is stunning and room 8 was cozy! We enjoyed each other's company and the staff was amazing. Linda at the front desk was a pleasure and got us off to a wonderful start. We had couples massages at their spa and relaxed in our room. We also read up in the alcove which has a beautiful view of all directions with large windows. We spent the first night in, except to go eat Thai food for dinner. Back at Lucille’s, we purchased some wine and Bold Rock while we enjoyed the complimentary evening desserts. In the morning we had a DELICIOUS breakfast and added two glasses of Mimosas. We then drove to nearby Anna Ruby Falls which was a lovely short and easy hike. After leaving the falls we drove in to Helen and enjoyed walking around town. Then we headed back to Lucille’s to relax before going out to Paul’s Steakhouse (Margarita Deck) for dinner and drinks. The next morning we ate another delicious breakfast and checked out. Lisa served breakfast on both days and was such a delight! Very kind, funny, and super attentive. We have recommended Lucille’s to our local Couple Friends and hope to return soon.”

“I have been wanting to bring my kids to this wildlife park for many years and we finally made the trip today! We attended on Family Tuesday which was a great deal and we added on the Deer Experience. The wildlife park was a 45 minute tour guided by Coffey. He was awesome! We saw many, many animals that I had never seen in person before and definitely had not seen some of them so closely at other parks or zoos. Coffey was a wealth of information, jokes and energy! He did a great job also involving the kids and adults by asking questions and he encouraged the kids to answer and made everyone feels good even if they got the answer incorrect. We also had Coffey as our guide for the Deer Experience and he told us lots of facts about deer and what species are "native" to Georgia. We got to feed them and pet them and it was a great experience! We loved the drive thru safari and next time we will buy the cups of food to feed the animals! My son wants to come back for the capybara experience for his birthday. So happy that we visited! I would just add to bring good walking shoes and snacks for your kids.”
