Outpost Gold & Gem Mining Co. is a great stop for anybody with children and a really fun, family-oriented place to spend the day. The folks and employees are the absolute best—helpful, friendly, very knowledgeable, informative, and very courteous. It is a really cool field trip idea and the best thing to do. The kids keep what they find and get so excited about the neat stuff and treasure hidden in the buckets. For more discerning eyes, there are amazing pieces inside the shop and they can also design custom jewelry. The service is above and beyond expectations, creating the most enjoyable experience. Visitors highly recommend this mining place over the rest and cannot wait to return.
Had a phenomenal experience today! Even whiteness a miracle, lol. My hubby lost a little nug of gold and the sweetest guy actually found the itty bitty tjing 🙌 they were so knowledgeable, kind and went above and beyond with our experience. Highly recommend!!

We came here with our kids in Sep and had the best time! They were so kind and explanatory to my 8 year old son and even got my baby girl a stool so she could mine too! I had this ring made and received it today. I absolutely LOVE it!

We had a lot of fun there today. My husband got to pan for gold while I got to pan for gems. I walked away with so many pretty crystals. I am so happy.
