This place was so cute! They were adding corn to the mill when we arrived so it was super neat to see the grinding process. I purchased a bag of grits and cornmeal which I cannot wait to try at home. The employees were friendly and helpful.

This grain mill has been in operation for a long time. They were unloading a truck of corn when we were there. They were very busy! I bought seasoned cornmeal and popcorn. We walked on the back deck to see the waterfall made by the dam. It's a nice piece of history.

Always stop here when we are in Helen. Love their grits and and the giant variety of food items such as honey, syrups, pickles. Anyone can find something there they like. Not to mention that the staff is always very friendly

I was in this town visiting & stopped by this small country store with just a handful of people in it; I was holding my 6 pound small shih tzu & the guy at the register (not too far from the front door) stopped me & told me if he is not a service dog he can't be here. I turned around & left & wouldn't have care to put a review if it was not because I felt like there was a more colorful reason for the turnaround. Just my feeling about my experience.

I like to stop in to get presents for my family or myself. The grits are so good. We also like the fish seasoning and pancake mix.

If you’re in Helen, Ga I’d definitely recommend to stop by Nora Mills. All kinds of grains, jams, syrups, etc. And a good bit of history displayed

Everytime we come to Helen, this is a must! Their mixes are amazing. I've highly recommend the blue berry muffin mix, and the cornmeal mix as well for pancakes. It makes great gifts to take home to friends and family. The fact that it's a real working mill adds so much more to the experience.
